ResponsibilitiesSupport trading processes on global markets primarily focusing on our Crypto business, and also across a range of asset classes like Equity, Fixed Income, derivatives, FX and commodities Work with different stakeholders to scope new processes, troubleshoot ad-hoc problems, and propose continuous improvements for existing operational tasks related to crypto markets globally which includes but is not limited to account maintenance, collateral and position management and accurate book keeping of coins on all crypto exchanges.

Daily affirmation and reconciliation of position and cash activity, minimizing operational risk and maximizing straight-through processing Monitoring and reporting of daily PnL for various markets to senior management.

Investigating and resolving of queries raised by trading desks, other departments, and counterpartiesBuilding business intelligence reports regarding operational activities for managementWork with different trading and support teams for daily operational issuesDocumenting proceduresQualificationsA degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or other related fields; CFA a plusEntrepreneurial spirit and an enthusiasm for continuous learning3-5+ years of experience in capital markets or crypto operationsExtensive communication across trading teams and software development teamsThe desire for a fast-paced environment and “to wear multiple hats”High-level MS Excel knowledge is a must, as is comfort with Vlookups, Pivot Tables, and conditional statementsExperience with workflow management software, such as JIRAExperience in financial and crypto markets is a plusTower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.
