OverviewThe Pet Specialty Retail Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the marketing activation plan to achieve business growth as well as building a strong Health Through Nutrition category growth and positive ROI outcome.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute annual trade marketing plans including product portfolio strategies, pricing strategies, activation plans, and consumer promotional plans aligned with brand and sales strategies.Analyze market trends, shopper insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.Plan and implement trade promotions, POSM, and in-store activations with seamless coordination with the sales team and cross functions team.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions with clear measures to determine the impact on ROI; providing recommendations for continuous improvement.Identity and lead new product launches, product revamps with excellent planning & execution.Collaborate with Brand Strategy & Activation Manager/ Digital Marketing Manager/ CRM Manager/ Merchandising Manager to translate brand strategies into actionable trade activities and category management initiatives to enhance product visibility and shopper engagement.Create promotion plans to recruit new pet owners and evaluate these promotional plans to ensure they are consistent with the brand strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.Enthuse and engage sales team on marketing initiatives and work closely with Scientific Communication team to equip sales with effective trade tools, guidelines, and programs to achieve business targets.Partner with trade partners to implement trade programs, track performance, and ensure strong execution in the field.Conduct regular market visits to monitor in-store execution and identify improvement areas.Plan and manage the A&P and Trade Spend in-line with business growth as well as ensuring optimum ROI on activities and initiatives.Provide timely reporting, analysis, and insights to management to support strategic decision-making.Facilitate the local PMR and participate in the Regional PMR, bridge information from and to the region and secure a smooth step one of the S&OP+ processes.Select, develop and lead relations with marketing and event agencies and other key suppliers, to ensure timely deliverables and optimize the marketing budget.RequirementsProfessional Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or relatedWorking experience within the FMCG industry or leading pharmaceutical companiesAt least 3 years experience in marketing or marketing related fields (trade marketing, brand management, portfolio manager, etc.)Self-driven, highly motivated, and comfortable interacting at various levels of an organization, up to senior managementIndividual who thrives in an entrepreneurial and rapidly changing environment.Excellent planning, organizing and prioritizing skillsAble to stand alone with high accountability & attention for detailLanguage skills: fluent in written and spoken English is a mustInterest for nutrition and passion for dogs and cats would be a plusWilling to travel islandwide as required
