This role may include supervision of Transportation Supervisors, depending on the location. The manager ensures compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving issues.In this role, you willEnsure timely and efficient deliveries that comply with state and federal regulations, supervising all aspects of product delivery and customer relations.Provide staffing, training, certification, safety supervision, and motivation for delivery personnel.Adhere to customer credit restrictions and requirements, ensuring drivers meet accuracy and accountability standards.Collaborate with sales departments to deliver products promptly and accurately.Maintain safety and documentation standards for delivery processes, ensuring drivers are properly licensed and comply with DOT requirements.Coordinate delivery activities according to scheduling guidelines, ensuring efficient and economic delivery operations.Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and insurance regulations for safety and handling of alcoholic beverages.Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are clean, in proper working condition, and meet all regulatory requirements.What you bring to RNDCAssociates degree from a two year college or technical school preferred;Three or more years related experience, of which two to three years previous transportation and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires a current state driver's licenseAbility to meet company vehicle insurance requirementsAlcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state (i.e. TABC License - Texas)The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.What's in it for you401(k) with company matchingMedical, dental and vision benefits*Generous paid time off program - work your way up to 5 weeks of PTO a year with the ability to carryover unused PTOPaid volunteer timePaid parental leavePaid caregiver leaveFertility benefitsPaid trainingCompany paid life insurance, short-term disability, and company-paid holidaysAssociate resource groups, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs available for all associatesParticipation in these programs is subject to applicable wait periods and all plan and program terms and eligibilityCOVID-19 ConsiderationsWe follow CDC Guidelines and have a fun and safe environment for our teams.Bonus if you bringBachelors degreePrevious experience in the Wine and Spirits industryWSET certificationsRepublic National Distributing Company and National Distributing Company are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employers.
