In this role you will prepare daily routing solutions for over 100 delivery vehicles, using either a software-based solution or a manual routing process, depending on location. RNDC's goal is to provide a cost-effective delivery solution that maximizes driver utilization, ensures customer satisfaction, and meets our productivity expectations. As a vital member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the software database, keeping tabs on delivery technology for improvement opportunities, and interacting with delivery drivers, sales, and transportation management, as well as day and night warehouse personnel.In this role, you willUtilize a software-based solution to create an efficient and effective daily delivery schematic that maximizes company resources and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction.Maintain and update the routing software database daily to ensure that all key elements are current, reliable, and accurate at all times.Collaborate frequently with sales and operations management to ensure that customer service and operational goals are met and exceeded.Perform administrative tasks, including but not limited to printing invoices, running reports, preparing delivery documents, responding to voice mails and emails, and fulfilling special requests.Solicit and process driver feedback on the daily routes and make necessary adjustments to improve routing and delivery performance.Make daily decisions on delivery routes to ensure that proper service levels are achieved, balancing customer satisfaction and operational metrics.Perform various other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the company.What you bring to RNDCHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).One to three months related experience.Preferably one year transportation experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with Roadnet routing software preferred.The employee will occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.Should be able to learn and utilize order processing systems and internet software such as GreenMile and Geotab.Ability to work overtime if needed.What's in it for you401(k) with company matchingMedical, dental and vision benefits*Generous paid time off program - work your way up to 5 weeks of PTO a year with the ability to carryover unused PTOPaid volunteer timePaid parental leavePaid caregiver leaveFertility benefitsPaid trainingCompany paid life insurance, short-term disability, and company-paid holidaysAssociate resource groups, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs available for all associatesParticipation in these programs are subject to applicable wait periods and all plan and program terms and eligibilityCOVID-19 ConsiderationsWe follow CDC Guidelines and have a fun and safe environment for our teams.Bonus if you bringPrevious experience in the Wine and Spirits industryIndustry certifications to include: CSW, CSS, WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, Sake SpecialistRepublic National Distributing Company and National Distributing Company are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employers.
