Job Title: User Experience (UX) LeadCompany: A leading SaaS platform providerLocation: ColomboSalary Range: LKR 350,000 – 600,000 (Gross), paid in GBP, based on experienceAbout the RoleWe are looking for a User Experience (UX) Lead for our client, a leading SaaS provider. This role involves creating a seamless, user-friendly experience across the platform by overseeing the UX process from research to execution. The UX Lead will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Marketing teams to simplify complex workflows and deliver an outstanding SaaS experience. Ideal for candidates with strong UX design experience and a passion for user-centric solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the UX vision for the platform, ensuring design consistency and usability across all features.Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points and improve the user journey.Develop and maintain design systems, UX guidelines, and interaction standards to ensure uniformity.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for both web and mobile platforms.Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to refine features and ensure smooth implementation.Advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and intuitive navigation.Collaborate with Engineering to ensure precise execution and smooth handoff of designs.Partner with Marketing & Branding teams to align visual design across both product features and promotional materials.Use data-driven design techniques, such as A/B testing and analytics, to improve the overall UX.Requirements5+ years of experience in UX design, preferably within SaaS, B2B, or fintech/legal tech.Strong portfolio showcasing your work from research to execution.Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and design systems.Experience in user research, usability testing, and data-driven decision-making.Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS; React knowledge is a plus).Strong understanding of accessibility, UX heuristics, and conversion optimization.Ability to lead and mentor junior designers while maintaining high UX standards.
