Job Description

Job Purpose:Lead the end-to-end design, execution, and continuous evolution of the Management Trainee (MT) Program while supporting strategic leadership development initiatives across the Bank. Ensure robust talent pipelines are built to meet future leadership needs through structured learning, performance monitoring, and developmental exposure.Design and lead the annual Management Trainee Program lifecycle, including recruitment, on boarding, rotations, learning, and graduation.Collaborate with business leaders to define rotation structures and developmental assignments aligned with strategic needs.Deliver structured capability-building initiatives tailored to accelerate readiness for mid-level roles.Monitor and mentor MTs through regular feedback loops, coaching interventions, and performance check-ins.Build robust tracking mechanisms to evaluate MT progress and align talent development with succession pipelines.Manage and design recruitment process to ensure high-quality sourcing and brand positioning of the MT Program.Manage vendor relationships for psychometric assessments, boot camps, and learning delivery.Ensure program governance, including alignment with HR policies, internal audits, and leadership reviews.Facilitate career pathways and transitions post-program completion in coordination with business units.Continuously evolve the MT Program based on feedback, best practices, and market trends.Leadership DevelopmentSupport, design and implement enterprise-wide leadership development frameworks and capability models.Co-create and deliver leadership development journeys for Management Trainees and High Potential trainees.Assist Unit Head – Leadership and Head of Culture with the implementation of Leadership Programs for senior and mid-level across the Bank.Support leadership initiatives and projects, immersion programs, and executive learning experiencesMeasurement and Reporting Track and report MT Program KPIs including evaluations, retention, promotion rate, and placement success.Maintain dashboards and reports for leadership development participation, engagement, and impact metrics.Provide regular updates on program performance and HIPOs from the Management Trainee Program.Conduct periodic reviews using post-program assessments to drive continuous improvementMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree, preferably with a Human Resources specialization, or any related business specialization.Minimum ExperienceMinimum 7 years of experience with 2-4 years’ experience in leading a management trainee program or progressive human resources experience in Talent Development, Leadership Development, or Human Capital strategy.Proven expertise in designing and leading large-scale Management Trainee or Graduate Development Programs within a complex, multi-stakeholder organization.Familiarity with global leadership models, psychometric tools, and experiential learning methodologies.Experience in managing budgets, external vendors, and cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of driving transformation.Strong coaching skills to work on the development of the Management Trainee and Leadership program.Ability to influence, coach, and engage with senior business stakeholdersDemonstrate success in applying data-driven decision-making and performance metrics to evaluate program impact and drive strategic talent outcomes.Job Specific SkillsLeadership: Ability to lead by influence, inspire change, and drive the adoption of a diverse and inclusive culture.Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of how cultural transformation and DEI initiatives align with broader business goals.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to influence and coach Management Trainees and work with senior staff.Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across all levels and functions within the organization.
