In this client-facing role, the Human Resources Generalist provides Tier-1 level HR guidance and support to our clients. This role is part of a Human Resources team that strives to be a trusted advisor, while providing guidance through in-depth experience, sound research, compliance and HR best practices.Provide comprehensive telephonic employee relations guidance on various issues and resolutionsUtilize a ticketing system to track and respond to front-line client inquiriesMeet the demands of Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) on a day-to-day basisAttend Welcome Calls and initial HR calls for new clients, while conducting HR Services DiscoveryInterpret and provide guidance on employment law, including wage and hour regulationsOffer guidance on leave administration in accordance with state and federal lawsAssist client contacts with impartial and thorough employee relations investigationsRecognize and escalate concerns involving potential risk or liability to HR department leadershipCreate employee handbooks using an electronic handbook generator and facilitate Q&A discussions with clientsIdentify and develop policies as neededCreate job descriptions and research salary and wage dataProvide clients with various reports to support HR-related processes for worksite employeesAssist in identifying, developing, and scheduling customer HR compliance training upon requestSupport leadership with special projects, process improvements, and strategic initiativesPerform other duties and projects as assignedQualification And RequirementsBasic Qualifications:HR Certification (PHR or SHRM- CP)1-2 years experience in a PEO environmentExcellent customer service and follow up skillsAbility to clearly and accurately communicate, translating complex HR subject matter and deliver solution to managers and C-Suite client contactsNatural relationship builder with ability to thrive in a high-volume environmentDemonstrates emotional intelligence with a client centric attitude Preferred QualificationsRestaurant or Hospitality industry experience Degree Level Or Equivalent Combination Of Education & ExperienceBachelors degree is preferred 1-3 years HR experience Non-negotiable Skills & RequirementsNote: All listed basic qualifications are required.
