UX/UI Designer

About the Role : The role requires a highly independent and creative UX/UI Designer to support the transformation of legacy applications into modern Appian-based experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker who can solve complex UX challenges, refine user journeys, and deliver high-quality designs aligned with enterprise standards—without constant oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end UX/UI design for operational and customer-facing applications migrating to AppianAudit legacy applications to identify usability gaps and improvement opportunitiesTranslate business requirements into intuitive, scalable design solutionsEnsure compliance with design standards while solving UX problems creativelyCollaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to drive design excellenceProduce wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visualsConduct usability testing, accessibility and iterate based on feedbackChampion user-centered design throughout the project lifecycleMust-Have Qualifications5+ years of UX/UI design experience in enterprise or B2B environmentsStrong portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving and UI craftsmanshipProven ability to work independently and manage design deliverables autonomouslyExperience designing for Appian or similar low-code platformsProficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, MS Whiteboard, or equivalent toolsFamiliarity with JIRA for task tracking and Confluence for documentationSolid grasp of design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive designExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsComfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment Bonus SkillsFamiliarity with legacy system modernizationExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesKnowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) for better collaboration with developers
