The main purpose of the position is to execute and coordinated VAT-related activities for HIAB companies.Please note that this is a maternity cover position and we offer a fixed-term contract (for a period of one year, approximately).Main ResponsibilitiesReview of processed VAT documents and assessment for correct treatment from VAT perspectiveResponsible of VAT G/L accounts reconciliations preparationAssist Team Lead in analysing end-to-end transaction chains in order to providing guidance/ process improvement from indirect tax perspectivePerform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activitiesPrepare Ad hoc reportsExtract and validate financial data for the preparation of EC sales listsExtract and provide financial data for Intrastat purposesAssist in continuous improvement of Intrastat quality data input in the ERP systemSupport the transition of processes including knowledge transfer and work shadowing.What You’ll Need To SucceedMinimum bachelor degree in Financel, Business administration or related field2-4 years of experience in accounting / tax areaKnowledge in international indirect taxes (EU VAT Legislation)Understanding of SAP main functionalities knowledge is a benefitExperience with simple to mid-complex query handlingStrong analytical, problem solving, organisational and communication skillsHands-on Experience Working With ERP/Cloud System PreferredTaking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practicesFull professional proficiency of written and oral English required.You Will Be Part OfWe offer you an opportunity to put your skills and experience into work and make an impact in our global organisation and the cargo handling industry.
