JOB TITLE: Venue Manager - ShoreditchReports to: Operations ManagerDirect Reports: 1.5 FTELocation: Bethnal Green Road, LondonHours: Full-time (Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings)Your Mission:As the Venue Manager at Top Cuvée Shoreditch, you will oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership will uphold brand standards, drive sales, and cultivate a high-performing team that excels both in a retail and service environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Leadership & Team Development:Lead, motivate, and develop a team to deliver exceptional service across all customer touchpoints.Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous staff development to ensure high standards.Set clear responsibilities, delegate tasks, and establish team sales targets.Provide regular performance feedback and conduct personal development meetings.2. Commercial & Financial Management:Take responsibility for meeting and exceeding sales and financial targets.Manage the venue budget, ensuring wage costs are controlled and profitability is maintained.Report regularly to the Operations Manager on venue performance, challenges, and achievements3. Customer Experience & Service Excellence:Ensure customer service exceeds expectations, addressing customer queries and complaints promptly.Lead by example to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere.Uphold consistent service standards in-store, online, and in the venue.4. Inventory & Stock Management:Control inventory through daily and weekly stock counts, ensuring proper rotation and seasonal adjustments.Implement sales initiatives via visual merchandising and team focus.Enforce best practices in loss prevention and stock handling, including damaged goods management.5. Marketing & Content Creation:Generate and oversee content for social media and marketing assets.Develop in-store promotions to drive customer engagement and revenue.Collaborate with the broader team to align marketing strategies with the brand.6. Health, Safety & Compliance:Take responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.Ensure compliance with government food safety laws, maintaining at least a 4-star EHO rating.Keep up-to-date records of safety, security, and legal certifications.Required Skills & Qualifications:Exceptional customer service skills and a visitor-focused approach.Proven experience in team leadership, recruitment, and staff development.Strong prioritization, time-management, and organizational abilities.Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable in responding to changing priorities.Familiarity with EPoS systems and online retail platforms.Relevant certifications: Personal License, Food Safety Level 3, COSHH, and Fire Safety.Ability to handle physical tasks such as unpacking deliveries and stock management.Health and Safety:Take personal responsibility for ensuring the venue operates safely and in compliance with all regulations. Maintain up-to-date records for equipment testing and safety protocols.
