Job Title: Portfolio Manager – VP, Fixed IncomeLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-time and office basedAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to lead and oversee our fixed income investment strategies. This senior leadership position is responsible for managing diversified fixed income portfolios, guiding fund management teams, and ensuring that all activities align with the firm’s broader investment objectives.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in fixed income markets, a proven record of strong portfolio performance, and the ability to lead high-performing investment teams in a dynamic market environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive fixed income investment strategies aligned with organizational goals and market conditions.Provide strategic direction and oversight to portfolio and fund management teams.Manage fixed income portfolios, including interest rate risk management, credit analysis, and asset allocation.Monitor portfolio performance and make tactical adjustments to optimize returns.Lead the development and oversight of fixed income funds to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and stakeholders.Mentor and develop investment professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.Conduct thorough market analysis, including interest rate forecasts, credit assessments, and macroeconomic research.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of performance metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.Uphold the highest standards of compliance, governance, and internal controls.Represent the firm at industry events, client meetings, and professional forums.Qualifications & Experience10–15 years of experience in fixed income investment management, with a focus on portfolio and fund management.Proven track record of managing large fixed income portfolios and meeting or exceeding performance targets.Deep understanding of global fixed income markets, instruments, and regulatory frameworks.Strong leadership and team management skills.Advanced analytical and quantitative capabilities, including fixed income modeling and risk management expertise.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.CFA Charterholder (Level III required).Demonstrated success managing fixed income portfolios or funds outside the MENA region.Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to take a senior leadership role in a global investment environment, driving strategy and performance across complex fixed income portfolios.
