Thisrole is primarily responsible for managing the communications risks and opportunities of thebusiness, internally. Provides critical, high-level communications to support theexecution of the company’s strategy. Accountable for achieving Jacobs brand promise in support ofclient centric strategic growth, employee engagement, and corporate identity goals. Works toensure unified, consistent application of key branding, and communications strategies, internally.We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture andclient delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split theirwork week between Jacobs’ offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver theirbest work.This position can be aligned to a Jacobs office based in North America but Dallas, Texas is the preferred location.Candidate QualitiesA deep understanding of and commitment to clients, passionate about the success of the business, in the context of the company’s shared values and cultureA strategic thinker, an excellent listener, and a pro-active self-starter who is able to competently manage projects to deadlinesOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to develop a cohesive vision for a dynamic, nimble and multi-faceted communications strategy to advance the company’s objectives with internal constituentsExceptional judgment and professionalismDeep communications experience with multiple stakeholders and expertise in strategy, communications, brand governance, and business developmentTeam leader, with ability to develop talent and leverage strengths of team members and associates.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage implementation of a comprehensive communications vision and strategy, including these functionsBrand development strategyBrand activation and productionEmployee communicationsDigital platformsMonitors budget and cost effectiveness of overall communications program and ensures that investments produce desired resultsDevelop relationships with key internal stakeholders and business leaders to determine engagement strategy to communicate key messages on strategic initiatives.Provides support to the Social and Political Committee on geo-political macro events and how the company should respond and react when appropriate.Key Success MeasuresEnterprise communications, branding functions are viewed (internally and externally) as coordinated, innovative, and making a positive difference in Jacobs market position and brandOther metrics as defined in the corporate communications strategy and implementation planHere's what you'll needMinimum B.S. Degree in communications, marketing, or other relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).At least 15 years’ progressively responsible experience in corporate communications, marketing or related position.Experience supervising diverse teams and collaborating with other corporate and business functionsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skillsGlobal experience and mindset, with sensitivity to diverse constituenciesExcellent presentation skillsHigh attention to detail, quality and timelinessAbility to synthesize and simplify complex concepts into understandable messages for multiple audiencesAbility to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situationsActive listening skillsAbility to generate creative conceptsInitiativeExcellent planning and organizational skillsResults orientedStrong leadership skills, including leading by influence vs. positionOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.The base salary range for this position is $180,000.00 to $220,000.00.
