Job Title: Video Editior – Political Location: Kathmandu Department: Political Affairs / Office of the Political Executive Reports To: Political Leader / Senior Political AdvisorPosition OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to produce high-quality, fast-paced digital video content for campaigns, social media, and interviews. This role prioritizes talent, speed, and creativity over formal qualifications, focusing on delivering visually engaging content across multiple platforms.Role & ResponsibilitiesEdit raw footage into polished and engaging videos suitable for all platforms. Incorporate motion graphics, color grading, sound design, and subtitles. Create short clips from interviews, podcasts, and other long-form content. Ensure timely delivery while maintaining consistent visual quality. Collaborate with the content and design teams to align outputs with brand and campaign objectives Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for all platforms.Qualifications and Requirements: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for all platformsAdd motion graphics, color grading, sound design, and subtitles Create short clips from interviews and podcasts. Ensure timely delivery and maintain consistent visual quality. Coordinate with the content and design team for aligned outputs. Strong editing skills using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve. Fast editing ability with attention to flow, pacing, and storytelling. Understanding of platform-specific content formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube). Creativity, reliability, and ability to work under deadlines. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on video editing experience. Experience with reels/shorts, podcasts, and interview-style content preferred. Formal qualifications not required; portfolio and skill matter. Deliver 3–7 short videos (Reels/Shorts) per week. Deliver 3–4 long-form edits per month. Provide platform-ready exports (vertical, horizontal, subtitles). Maintain organized footage and project files. Be prompt, responsive, and able to edit quickly.
