Junior Video Editor Executive or InternLocation: Colombo (In-office) Hatch BuildingType: Paid InternshipStipend: CompetitiveOpportunity to convert to permanent employment We’re now looking for a motivated Junior Multimedia Content Creator to join our team and learn the ropes across design, video editing and basic production.What You’ll DoAs a Junior Multimedia Content Creator, you will:Design social media creatives (static posts, carousels, infographics) aligned with brand guidelines.Edit short-form video content (for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) including simple motion graphics, text overlays and music.Assist in basic camera operations, including shooting content (photos/videos) under supervision, setting up lighting/angles, and assisting content capture.Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm ideas for campaigns, social posts, and video series.Help maintain the content calendar, organize assets, and ensure all creatives are on-brand and delivered on time.Stay updated with design and social-media trends, suggesting fresh ideas to keep our content current and engaging.Who You AreYou’re passionate about visual storytelling, social media and design.You have basic experience in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve).You’re eager and open to learning camera operation (filming, lighting, framing) and willing to assist in content shoots.You’re creative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and basic understanding of social-media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and what makes engaging content.Attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.A portfolio or samples of design/video work (school/university projects, personal work, etc.) is a plus but not mandatory.What You Will GainHands-on experience in producing real-world creative content for social media and video.Mentoring from experienced media professionals and opportunity to grow into a full-time role.Exposure to varied content formats (design, video, camera work) — a broad multimedia skill set.A creative, collaborative work culture where your ideas matter and you’ll have a chance to shine.Possibility of moving into a full-time multimedia role at the end of the internship/entry period.
