Serving clients across Australia, MA Media works with restaurants, ecommerce brands, personal brands, and local businesses to create impactful content from trend research to full-service production.Role DescriptionThis is a hybrid contract role for a Videographer / Content Creator, based in Canberra, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves video production activities such as filming and post-production editing. The successful candidate will conceptualise and execute high-quality short-form video content, research trends, and assist with scripting and lighting setups to meet client goals. The Videographer / Content Creator will work collaboratively to produce engaging content that generates meaningful and measurable results for clients.What you'll be doing:Filming short-form content on-site at cafés, restaurants, retail stores, and other industriesCapturing talking head, B-roll, behind-the-scenes, and storytelling momentsWorking closely with our lead creator to plan and execute scroll-stopping shotsDirecting basic scenes with owners or staff to get clean, natural takesEditing of video filmedWhat we're looking for:Confident behind the camera (handheld or gimbal)Strong framing, pacing, and storytelling instinctsOwns their own camera gear (Sony mirrorless preferred, but flexible)Understands content for Reels, TikTok, Shorts (vertical-first, native to platform)Punctual, reliable, communicates clearly, and works fast on setProficient in Davinci Resolve Studio for editingBonus if you:Example in the past where you have generated over 100k views for a video you createdBonus if you:Flexible, freelance work with real businesses (with path to become full time)Opportunity to grow with a results-driven creative agencyPortfolio-worthy content with high-visibility brands
