Job Description

Overview We are looking for a highly driven Virtual Sales Representative based in South Africa to support our fast-growing Sage Tax & Accounting practice serving small businesses across the United States. This is a remote, client-facing, contract-based sales role focused on converting inbound leads, performing structured outbound follow-up, and nurturing prospects through a clearly defined sales pipeline.ResponsibilitiesConduct discovery calls with U.S.-based small business owners to understand their accounting and tax needs.Clearly articulate our Sage-powered accounting, bookkeeping, and tax solutions.Manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification → pitching → follow-ups → closing.Maintain consistent activity levels through emails, calls, and CRM updates.Work closely with the founder on improving scripts, follow-ups, and conversion workflows.Update and manage leads using Pipedrive and document status changes.Achieve weekly and monthly revenue and call targets.Provide feedback on lead quality, objections, and market trends.Attend weekly strategy and performance review meetings.Required Skills & Experience1–3 years of experience in sales, cold calling, appointment setting, or client onboarding (B2B preferred).Excellent spoken English, neutral/clear accent.Strong understanding of accounting concepts OR ability to learn quickly.Prior exposure to Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms is a plus but not required.Comfortable selling to U.S. clients and working U.S. hours.Organized, disciplined, proactive, and strong follow-up skills.Contractor Benefits (Since this is Contract Work)Fully remote work.Flexible schedule within U.S. time-zone alignment.Performance-based bonuses and commissions.Opportunity for long-term contract renewal.Paid training and script/playbook provided.
