VP/Director of Finance

We are looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance to join our team in the Hartford area. As a key leader in financial strategy and governance, you will play a vital role in overseeing financial operations, reporting, and decision-making processes. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to drive performance, manage risk, and contribute to the organization's growth.Responsibilities:• Lead the development and implementation of annual budgets and financial forecasting processes.• Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.• Monitor and refine budget processes to align with organizational goals and objectives.• Prepare detailed financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, to support strategic planning.• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.• Provide decision support through financial modeling and performance management insights.• Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial health and mitigate risk.• Ensure compliance with financial controls and reporting standards.• Collaborate with leadership to scale operations and support business growth initiatives.• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.• Extensive experience in financial leadership roles, including budgeting and forecasting.• Proficiency in managing month-end close and reporting processes.• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and controls.• Expertise in financial analysis and modeling techniques.• Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow and working capital effectively.• Solid understanding of performance management and decision support strategies.• Proven track record of aligning financial processes with organizational objectives.• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across departments.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
