Well Integrity Operations Manager

About the roleThe Well Integrity Operations Manager is responsible for establishing, managing, and developing Score’s Well Integrity Services operation in Basrah, Iraq. This includes the initial setup of the facility and workshop within the Al Majal camp, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while delivering high-quality well integrity solutions to regional clients. The role requires close collaboration with Score’s technical teams in country as well as globally and including the joint venture partner Al Majal to deliver technical excellence, client satisfaction, and growth in service and sales opportunities across Southern Iraq.Please note that this role is site-based in Iraq and will follow a 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off rotation.While on rotation, accommodation and in-country support will be provided. The successful applicant must be willing and able to work internationally on this rotational schedule. ResponsibilitiesLead the setup, commissioning, and operational readiness of the well integrity workshop facility in Basrah.Planning & monitoring of work within Score workshop and at clientele site / offshore facilitiesProvide direct technical support and guidance to field and workshop teams for troubleshooting, complex interventions, and best practice implementation.Supervision of staff in all aspects of repairs, maintenance, modification, testing and site services.Liaising with Global Well Integrity Manager regarding operational and commercial performanceOwnership and reporting against agreed budgetsClient communication, interaction, and reportingHands on approach where scope of work dictates Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Ensure compliance to client standards and specificationsClient Quotation and CTR creation, review, and approvals as necessaryCompilation and review of Quality documentationEnsure high quality of delivery and service.Work scope management and cost controlInternal monthly reportingSub-supplier communication and management Training, development, and performance management of personnel Implementation and upkeep of workshop maintenance and safety schedulesCreation & Delivery of Toolbox TalksMeeting of company Goals and ObjectivesHSE ObjectivesMaintaining HSE complianceTo take an active role in the AIMS card systemAssisting in the investigation of accidents, incidents, Internal non-conformance, and customer complaintsInput into BASIX, Risk Assessment & JHA review and approvalsKnowledge and SkillsWellhead based knowledge the Oil & Gas, manufacturing, other areas of the valve industryProven leadership skills with the ability to influence, train and motivate othersStrong problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Industry Specifications & Standards (API etc)Must have proven experience in communicating professionally with customersMust be fully conversant with the use and operation of high pressure testing equipment and associated measuring devicesMust be fully conversant with the use and operation of precision measuring equipment e.g. Micrometers, Vernier Callipers etc.Strong written and verbal communication skillsComputer literate ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar position of responsibilityHands on Wellhead and Xmas tree maintenance / repairs / problem solvingDown-hole Well related knowledgeWork scope Planning & Scheduling experienceExperience as a qualified Well Integrity technicianA thorough understanding of and experience in Wellhead products, services and repairsOnshore and Offshore site experiencePersonal QualitiesCommitment to quality, health and safety, environment and meeting of stake holders needsCommitment to achieving company Goals and Objectives
