Job Description

Purpose of the jobWIBU: Water & Industry Business UnitPosition in the organization with experience to support the sales and marketing activities of the designated principals in the Water & Industry market in Korea. Also, employee need to do order processing to meet the objectives of the company’s overall business plan and strategies. Management of quality documents and collation to meet customer/project requirements in line with Sulzer factory standard.Maintasks and responsibilitiesCall on prospective customers and maintain contacts with customers in relation to their requirements.Identify the needs and requirement of target customer with technical knowledge activities.Develop, execute, and support business plans, budgets, marketing strategies which are congruent with the Joint targets agreed.Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal details to mutual satisfaction of customers and Sulzer pump.Establishment of both market and target customer strategiesFind and develop new customers and new sales potential.Travels to customer locations to insure close and regular face to face contacts.Maintain knowledge of market and industry trend, competitors, and leading customer strategiesFocus on achievement of budgeted sales volume and operate within established Sulzer Korea policies, guidelines, and objectives.Contribute to monthly Sales and MIS reports.Participate in PU sponsored training and development programs.Competencies and behavior required.(What strengths needed?)Communication skillsNegotiating skillsInfluencing and persuasion skillsRelationship management skillsCommercial acumenCustomer service skillsCultural awarenessOrganization skillsAbility to act independently.Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.Attention to detail.Qualifications/Experience and Knowledge RequiredDegree in engineering, science, or business discipline and/orRelevant experience within related industryExperience of dealing with complex tendersExperience of contract negotiation in a commercial environmentStaff management experienceGeneral computer skillsRelevant experience in quality assurance or quality management work.Understanding in quality standard system (Code book structure)
