Through DaaS (Department as a Solution), SGS enables international organizations to select, create, implement, manage, operate, and relocate their teams and departments to Croatia.We are seeking an experienced EMEA HCM Lead to join our partner's team. Our client operates in the HR technology space and provides implementation and managed services for enterprise-level HR systems, supporting clients across multiple regions. Their solutions help organizations optimize People & Culture operations, enable data-driven processes, and deploy scalable HR technologies across global environments.The EMEA HCM Lead will lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Workday HCM solutions across the EMEA region, working closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.In this role, you will lead Workday HCM initiatives—from solution design and configuration to deployment and ongoing support—ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business needs. This is a key leadership position supporting complex international projects with high impact on HR strategy and digital transformation.ResponsibilitiesWorkday HCM Design & ImplementationLead Workday HCM configuration, deployment, and enhancement initiatives.Serve as a subject-matter expert in Core HR, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Compensation (Core & Advanced), and/or Adaptive Planning.Gather and document requirements, prepare functional specifications, and oversee execution.Compliance, Data & ReportingEnsure data integrity, accurate reporting, and adherence to regional regulatory requirements.Translate business needs into scalable system configurations.Leadership & CollaborationMentor and support Workday team members; promote knowledge sharing and development.Work closely with HR, IT, and global Workday teams to deliver integrated solutions.Project Management & Stakeholder EngagementManage project timelines, milestones, and functional requests.Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders throughout delivery cycles.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing or managing Workday HCM modules.Experience in functional consulting within Workday (internal or consultancy).Workday Implementer or Workday Pro certifications preferred.Experience leading regional or global Workday projects.Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.Strong organization, time management, and stakeholder management abilities.Advanced MS Excel skills (including complex formulas).Strong professional ethics and ability to serve as a role model.Fluent in English (C1); additional languages like French, German, Spanish, or Italian are a plus.BenefitsPrivate healthcare and private pension fundModern equipment and officesWorking with cutting-edge technologiesExciting projectsFriendly and collaborative team atmosphereA permanent position with stabilityPet-friendly officeMultisport cardPlease be so kind and provide your CV (in English) as a PDF or a Word document as this makes processing your data easier.By applying to this job, you acknowledge that your data may be processed and stored in our recruitment database (CRM) following our Privacy Policy and GDPR and Data Protection.
