Skopje/Zagreb/Split - HybridJob PurposeAs an Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Collaborating closely with our international team, you will translate complex design specifications into functional, innovative features while continuously seeking ways to improve the app and stay ahead of industry trends. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will ensure the delivery of reliable, user-centric solutions that meet client needs and drive business success.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality mobile applicationsTranslate complex design specifications and client requirements into functional, user-friendly Android featuresContinuously improve app performance, usability, and reliability to enhance the overall user experienceStay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions and improvementsEnsure code quality by adhering to best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns like MVVMParticipate in the full mobile development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deploymentTake ownership of the end product, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain app stabilityCommunicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to align development efforts with business goalsMentor and support junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environmentWhat We Are Looking ForMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in Android developmentStrong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android architecture using Jetpack ComposePrevious experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a strong plusExperience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Bitrise or Github Actions)Experience with unit and integration testingHands-on experience with GraphQL for efficient data fetching.Solid understanding of Android frameworks and the full mobile development lifecycleFamiliarity with SOLID programming principles and design patterns (such as MVVM)Previous experience with Java is a plusProven problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills in English, both written and spokenAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teamsProactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility for the end productEagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest mobile technologiesWE OFFERHybrid working policy, 5 days per month in the officeStay happy and healthy with a contribution to your health through the OpenUp platform and access to private health insurance.Refreshments are provided in the office all weekA reputation for doing good.
