Broncos 22-19 Chiefs, Rams 21-19 Seahawks; Packers, Steelers and Bills win: week 11 as it happened

12.54am GMT Woof! What a night. A couple of real showstoppers in Buffalo and Denver. The rebound from the Bills after losing so badly to the Dolphins is definitely the performance of the day. Josh Allen ran the show with six total touchdowns (three rushing and three in the air). The ship well and truly steadied. Enjoy this NFC banger between Detroit and Philadelphia if you are staying up. I’m off to bed, goodnight! Related: NFL roundup: Allen stars in Bills’ wild win; Brissett breaks completions record Updated at 12.57am GMT 12.46am GMT Final scores (3-7) Arizona Cardinals 22-41 San Francisco 49ers (7-4) (8-2) Los Angeles Rams 21-19 Seattle Seahawks (7-3) (2-8) Cleveland Browns 16-23 Baltimore Ravens (5-5) (9-2) Denver Broncos 22-19 Kansas City (5-5) The Broncos now have a two-game lead over the Chargers and a whopping four-game advantage over the Chiefs at the top of the AFC West. It is theirs to lose. 12.40am GMT It's GOOD! Broncos 22-19 Chiefs, full time WILL LUTZ! Give him the key to the city already. The kicker hits the walk-off 35-yard boot with ease. Five from five on the day for him and that is eight wins in succession now for Denver. They just keep getting it done. 12.36am GMT Broncos 19-19 Chiefs 0:45, 4th quarter Nix you beauty! A perfect throw deep to Troy Franklin over the defender. A 32-yard gain puts Lutz in chip shot territory. That should be it. Amazing throw under extreme pressure. 12.34am GMT Broncos 19-19 Chiefs 1:01, 4th quarter Denver are running the ball to try and set Lutz up for the walk-off field goal. An incomplete pass though brings up 3rd and six at midfield. Sutton makes a catch. He rather strangely and dangerously takes a step back from the 1st down marker to try and shimmy past a defender before being brought down maybe not past the marker. We have a virtual measurement incoming. The robots say he got it! By maybe only several centimetres. Tense. 46 yards remain. Updated at 12.35am GMT 12.29am GMT Browns 16-23 Ravens, full time Shadeur Sanders fails to bring the Browns back and the Ravens escape Cleveland with a nervy win. They all count though. Really tough to see the rookie QB on the sideline clearly in distress with his head in his hands. He has been waiting a long time for this chance. He was 4/16 for 47 yards and an interception. Things can only get better. Baltimore remain one game back from Pittsburgh at the top of the AFC North, the Steelers are 6-4 and Ravens are 5-5 after four wins in a row. 12.25am GMT Broncos 19-19 Chiefs 2:17, 4th quarter Massive stop for Denver! They dial up the blitz on 3rd down and Patrick Mahomes can’t escape. The Broncos bag their third sack thanks to Ja’Quan McMillian. Denver take over on their 30-yard line. 12.20am GMT It's GOOD! Broncos 19-19 Chiefs 4:10, 4th quarter Will Lutz hits a clutch 54-yard kick to tie it up in Denver. That is Lutz’s fourth make out of four tries. 12.18am GMT TOUCHDOWN! Browns 16-23 Ravens 2:00, 4th quarter You can’t keep a good Raven down. In one of the weirder touchdowns of the day Mark Andrews takes a direct snap and runs it 35 yards for the score. Can Shadeur Sanders lead a game-winning comeback? 12.16am GMT Full time: Cardinals 22-41 49ers With both NFC West games in the books the standings are as follows: 1. Rams 8-2. 2. Seahawks 7-3. 3. 49ers 7-4. 4. Cardinals 3-7. It is tight up there. Big win for the Rams and their fifth in succession. 12.11am GMT It's NO GOOD! Rams 21-19 Seahawks, full time Jason Myers misses wide right from 61 yards out. It was short too. Even to get a chance at winning the game there was incredible. The Rams can breathe a giant sigh of relief. Wow. 12.10am GMT Rams 21-19 Seahawks 0:01, 4th quarter WOAH! Rashid Shaheed makes the grab, drops, timeout. ONE SECOND ON THE CLOCK. Myers will attempt the kick from 60 yards. 12.08am GMT Rams 21-19 Seahawks 0:05, 4th quarter The Seahawks have moved down the field with ease despite the horrible field position but have wasted a ton of clock. They need a big play. Emmanuel Forbes knocks down a pass but coughs up the pass interference penalty. Justice for Seattle as they should have had one on the previous play. There are five seconds to get a catch and down it on midfield. 12.06am GMT It’s GOOD! Browns 16-16 Ravens 4:59, 4th quarter Tyler Loop draws the Ravens level with a 44-yard kick. TOUCHDOWN! Cardinals 22-41 49ers 2:43, 4th quarter Cards put some lipstick on the pig with a 17-yard touchdown from Jacoby Brissett to Greg Dortch. 12.02am GMT Rams 21-19 Seahawks 1:41, 4th quarter OK the Rams punter has just produced the greatest punt in the history of the NFL. LA falter on offense rather shockingly to give the ball back to Seattle but Ethan Evans makes it as hard as humanly possible by booting out just shy of the goal line in the left corner, the ball bounces back and just out of play on the one-yard line. Epic. Updated at 12.03am GMT 12.01am GMT TOUCHDOWN! Broncos 16-19 Chiefs 9:57, 4th quarter Kansas City take the lead! The classic combination of Mahomes and Kelce works a treat. The tight end scores with a 21-yard grab. 11.59pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Cardinals 16-41 49ers 4:44, 4th quarter A reader rightly points out it has been a while since an update from Arizona. As if by magic Christian McCaffrey handily runs a touchdown in from four yards. Absolute thrashing from the 49ers. McCaffrey completes his hat-trick. 11.56pm GMT Rams 21-19 Seahawks 2:09, 4th quarter Sean McVay smartly hands the ball off to his best piece on offense. Puka Nacua takes the running play and romps up field for 18 yards and a vital first down. One more and that is the ballgame for LA. 11.52pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Rams 21-19 Seahawks 2:23, 4th quarter Cooper Kupp revenge game! The Rams legend scores for Seattle with a seven-yard catch to give the Seahawks some life. Updated at 11.53pm GMT 11.49pm GMT It’s GOOD! Broncos 16-13 Chiefs 12:50, 4th quarter Denver are inside the 20-yard line. RJ Harvey bangs over the line to gain to give the Broncos an excellent chance of retaking the lead. 1st down goes nowhere, neither does 2nd. That escalated quickly. On 3rd Nix and Sutton are just not on the same page. Tony Romo then sticks the boot in by pointing out that Pat Bryant was wide open. Nix just too eager to find his first read. Will Lutz makes the 38-yard kick. 11.43pm GMT Browns 16-10 Ravens 14:34, 4th quarter No change in the score since half-time. Lamar Jackson picked off again in the third quarter. Cleveland’s defense giving him the day from hell with four sacks and five hits on the QB. Big news is Shadeur Sanders is in at quarterback for Cleveland. Five pass attempts, two completions and an interception. So it hasn’t gone so well thus far. Still time though. Updated at 11.43pm GMT 11.40pm GMT Broncos 13-13 Chiefs 0:41, 3rd quarter The offenses are bubbling up. Bo Nix hits a deep pass to Pat Bryant and the rookie holds on for a 48-yard gain. The rookie hits the turf violently and we will take an injury timeout. 32 yards to go for Denver. 11.37pm GMT PICK! Rams 21-12 Seahawks 9:30, 4th quarter Arroyo picks off Darnold again. That is four interceptions now from the quarterback, fortunately for the Rams can’t capitalise and punt it back to the Seahawks. Updated at 11.38pm GMT 11.34pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Broncos 13-13 Chiefs 0:49, 3rd quarter I may have gotten a little distracted … but real life is more important than football, just. Kareem Hunt draws Kansas City level with a two-yard run. 11.33pm GMT Broncos 13-6 Chiefs 3:51, 3rd quarter Wow, what a story for Denver’s linebacker Alex Singleton. He received a random drug test and it came back positive … only for cancer markers. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer, has now had his surgery and is aiming for a return to action in two weeks. Incredible. Very personal to me as I had the same diagnosis about eight years ago. Around Christmas things, let’s say, didn’t feel right and indeed they weren’t. Thankfully I also just needed surgery and that was that. Get checked people! Updated at 12.44am GMT 11.26pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Broncos 13-6 Chiefs 4:03, 3rd quarter Jaleel McLaughlin breaks the deadlock! We have a first touchdown finally land thanks to the running back’s four-yard scamper. Fine work from Bo Nix to move Denver downfield to convert the turnover into seven points. 11.24pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Rams 21-12 Seahawks 14:15, 4th quarter The Rams make Darnold pay for the pick. Stafford finds Colby Parkinson with a six-yard pass and the score. LA will be happy being two scores up with Seattle struggling to find anything on offense other than the odd field goal from behind the sofa. 11.22pm GMT Broncos 6-6 Chiefs 6:07, 3rd quarter Denver on 3rd down now. Can they find a spark? Yes! Nix hits Troy Franklin deep up the left sideline with a lovely touch pass straight into the receiver’s stride. That is a 35-yard gain, Nix then follows it up with a 14-yard strike to Courtland Sutton. About 30 yards to go now. 11.20pm GMT PICK! Rams 14-12 Seahawks 0:26, 3rd quarter Now it’s raining interceptions. Sam Darnold is picked off again. Elijah Arroyo puts the Rams in excellent field position with only 20 yards to go. Darnold is struggling that his third interception though hardly surprising considering how good the Rams pass rush is. 11.17pm GMT PICK! Broncos 6-6 Chiefs 10:04, 3rd quarter Jaquan McMillian comes up big for Denver. Just. He makes the pick then fumbles the ball. It rolls harmlessly out of play and the Broncos take over on offense. Crucial play their with Kansas City knocking on the door in the redzone. Updated at 11.20pm GMT 11.13pm GMT Rams 14-12 Seahawks 1:28, 3rd quarter The Seahawks defense holds their end of the bargain forcing another punt out of the Rams. 11.10pm GMT It’s GOOD! Cardinals 10-28 49ers 7:51, 3rd quarter It’s raining threes tonight. Eddie Pineiro completes his hat-trick with a 47-yard boot. The Niners are in total control in this NFC West clash. Crucial for them to get the W to move to 7-4 as one of the Rams or Seahawks are moving to 8-3. 11.06pm GMT Rams 14-12 Seahawks 3:39, 3rd quarter After trading turnovers they trade punts. Are either going to score another touchdown?! The defenses are in control since LA’s two scores in the first quarter. Greg Olsen is unhappy in the booth as he thinks the Seahawks should have gone for it on 4th and 1 on their 40-yard line. You imagine Seattle have based the decision on how hard they are making life for Matt Stafford to move the ball. No need to risk it with lots of time left only trailing by two. 10.56pm GMT Half-time: Browns 16-10 Ravens, Broncos 6-6 Chiefs One game I’ve missed so far is the other AFC North bust-up. And Pittsburgh will be thrilled with how it is going thus far. Cleveland’s defense is monstering Baltimore. Lamar Jackson is 6/12 for 104 yards, no TDs and a pick. That pick was returned for a touchdown by Devin Bush. Derrick Henry scored Baltimore’s only touchdown. If Cleveland pull this off then Pittsburgh would have a two-game lead at the top of the division. Updated at 10.58pm GMT 10.52pm GMT It’s GOOD! Rams 14-12 Seahawks 8:02, 3rd quarter Emmanuel Forbes, you beauty. The cornerback makes a one-handed dive in the end zone to keep Rashid Shaheed out from an easy touchdown grab. The Rams defense are just fantastic though a killer penalty also chalked off a touchdown on that drive for offensive holding. The Rams get the stop in the redzone again and Myers kicks his fourth field goal of the day from 29 yards. Updated at 11.07pm GMT 10.44pm GMT PICK! FUMBLE! Rams 14-9 Seahawks 13:56, 3rd quarter Oooh it’s all got very messy as Seattle and LA Trade turnovers. First Cobie Durant jumps the route and picks off Sam Darnold. The Rams pass rush were coming for the QB and he fires it too early to Smith-Njigba. Next Matt Stafford finds Puka Nacua. The receiver is hit by another Cobie, Cobie Bryant who knocks it loose. Drake Thomas snaffles it and the Seahawks are back in possession. The first fumble of Nacua’s career. 10.38pm GMT Broncos 6-6 Chiefs 1:46, 2nd quarter First sack of the night for Denver and it is a big one. DJ Jones brings down Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City have to punt after they run a pass play on 3rd and 1 deep in their own territory. It gets blown up. Denver take over on their own 27-yard line. 10.30pm GMT Broncos 6-6 Chiefs 3:11, 2nd quarter Denver driving now. Tony Romo gave an excellent dissection of Bo Nix who made a fine throw to the middle of the field. The point Romo was interested in one was how Nix went to his second read and was calm in the pocket rather than scrambling around as he often does. Rookie Pat Bryant was happy to take the pass for a 15-yard gain. Unfortunately it helps little as the drive quickly breaks down with a Troy Franklin drop. Updated at 10.30pm GMT 10.24pm GMT It’s GOOD! Broncos 6-6 Chiefs 4:38, 2nd quarter It’s a field goal FIESTA! Harrison Butker makes one from 31 yards. His second kick from 31 yards today. He likes this distance. 10.23pm GMT It’s GOOD! Rams 14-9 Seahawks, half-time Field goal it is. Jason Myers gets his hat-trick as the half draws to a close with a 22-yard boot. The Rams defense is doing an excellent job of making sure Myers is the only scorer so far for the Seahawks. Bend but don’t break. 10.21pm GMT Rams 14-6 Seahawks 0:04, 2nd quarter Seattle are being very careful with the clock to make sure LA can’t get it back. They bite off four yards with a short pass to Smith-Njigba. On 3rd down Darnold is pressured again and can only throw it away. 4th down now will they kick the field goal or go for it all? 10.18pm GMT Rams 14-6 Seahawks 0:33, 2nd quarter The Rams force another 3rd down after two stopped runs. They have an age to think about the call on the two-minute warning timeout. Seattle run the ball but come up just short. The offense is of course staying out their in the redzone. Barner takes the direct snap piling over for another 1st down inside the 10-yard line. A touchdown just before half-time would be rather handy. 10.12pm GMT Rams 14-6 Seahawks 3:13, 2nd quarter Jaxon Smith-Njigba gets the Seahawaks rolling with a beautiful one-handed catch up the left sideline for 28 yards. 3rd and six now with 30 yards to the end zone. Darnold throws his fastball at AJ Barner’s chest and the tight end hangs on for the 1st down. 10.09pm GMT Broncos 6-3 Chiefs 14:30, 2nd quarter Denver have a big call go against them and will likely feel aggrieved. McLaughlin takes a pass wide left and is hit but doesn’t hit the deck. The refs call the play dead but the running back takes off up field. It has to come back but should it have? I don’t think so. Punt. Updated at 10.10pm GMT 10.03pm GMT It’s GOOD! Broncos 6-3 Chiefs 0:49, 1st quarter These two didn’t get the memo from the Bills/Bucs banger. We want touchdowns. Though quite possibly a lack of scores might be down to the fact that the Chiefs and Broncos have much, much better defenses. Anywho … Harrison Butker bangs it through from 31 yards to get the Chiefs on the board. 10.01pm GMT It’s GOOD! Rams 14-6 Seahawks 9:04, 2nd quarter This scary Rams pass rush is winning at the line of scrimmage for LA and as such is keeping them ahead in the contest. Seattle have to settle for the 30-yard kick from Jason Myers after Sam Darnold feels the pressure and guns the ball out the back of the end zone. 9.52pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Cardinals 7-19 49ers 13:30, 2nd quarter Brock Purdy dials up his second touchdown throw with a nine-yard dump off to Christian McCarffrey. The QB has hit the ground running and is showing he is an apt upgrade on Mac Jones. He is 7/8 for 98 yards. Eddie Pineiro misses the extra point. Lot of that about today. 9.47pm GMT It’s GOOD! Broncos 6-0 Chiefs 4:51, 1st quarter Alas. Denver have to settle for the field goal. Will Lutz makes it from 24 yards. 9.45pm GMT Broncos 3-0 Chiefs 5:51, 1st quarter After a Chiefs punt the Broncos return it 70 yards to put Denver only 11 yards from scoring, what a start this will be if they can make it pay. Updated at 9.46pm GMT 9.42pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Rams 14-3 Seahawks 1:04, 1st quarter Los Angeles are cooking. Davante Adams does his usual one-on-one goal line routine and makes it pay. His 1,000th catch int the NFL is a touchdown. Nice. 9.41pm GMT Final score (3-7) Atlanta Falcons 27-30 Carolina Panthers (6-5) Ouch. Another rough defeat for Atlanta who lose their fifth in succession. The Falcons held a 21-7 lead and could not make it pay. Carolina are just one game back now on the Bucs after their loss in Buffalo. 9.37pm GMT Rams 7-3 Seahawks 3:13, 1st quarter Puka Nacua is just built different. He is so hard to bring down. Three defenders bounce off the receiver as he fights for a 10-yard gain. The Rams are marching with 37 yards to go to the end zone. 9.35pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Cardinals 7-13 49ers 4:58, 1st quarter Bam Knight gets Arizona on the board with a six-yard touchdown run. 9.25pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Cardinals 0-13 49ers 9:51, 1st quarter Brock Purdy is back with a bang for San Fran! He throws a 30-yard touchdown to George Kittle. Extra point is blocked. Chunky early lead for the Niners. TOUCHDOWN! Rams 7-0 Seahawks 8:31, 1st quarter The Seattle defense stops LA three times on the goal line. The Rams roll the dice. Kyren Williams punches through for a two-yard touchdown. Great work to capitalise on the Sam Darnold interception. 9.20pm GMT Early full time (7-3) Buffalo Bills 44-32 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4) (6-4) Jacksonville Jaguars 35-6 Los Angeles Chargers (7-4) (4-6) Minnesota Vikings 17-19 Chicago Bears (7-3) (2-9) New York Giants 20-27 Green Bay Packers (6-3-1) (6-4) Pittsburgh Steelers 34-12 Cincinnati Bengals (3-7) (1-9) Tennessee Titans 13-16 Houston Texans (5-5) We are going to overtime in Atlanta! 27-27. 9.15pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Falcons 24-27 Panthers 1:08, 4th quarter Huge comeback for Carolina! Tetairoa McMillan bags his second score with a 12-yard catch in the right corner of the endzone. The Panthers trailed 21-7 in the 2nd quarter and are now on top. One minute for Atlanta to respond. 9.13pm GMT Final score: Steelers 34-12 Bengals Big win for Pittsburgh who needed the win and got it despite Aaron Rodgers exiting the game with an injury. 9.12pm GMT Bills 44-32 Buccaneers 1:51, 4th quarter Baker Mayfield is sacked by DaQuan Jones who recovers the fumble. If it wasn’t curtains before it is now. Tough finish for the Bucs but the Bills stiffened up on defense when it counted. 9.09pm GMT Final score: Titans 13-16 Texans Another walk-off field goal. Matthew Wright kicks it through from 35 yards to edge Houston over the line. Very well done to get another win with backup QB Davis Mills starting. 9.06pm GMT Preamble 2.0 Now for today’s main event we have four more divisional duels starting from 3.05pm CST/4.05pm EST/9.05pm GMT (home teams listed first): (3-6) Arizona Cardinals v San Francisco 49ers (6-4) (7-2) Los Angeles Rams v Seattle Seahawks (7-2) (2-7) Cleveland Browns v Baltimore Ravens (4-5) (8-2) Denver Broncos v Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) The thick of the action comes from the mighty NFC West with an absolute humdinger in store between the LA Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The significance of victory could be huge to build momentum for taking the all-important No 1 seed playoff bye. And the same goes for Denver as they attempt to knock Kansas City off their perch for the first time since 2015. What happened the last time the Broncos won the division? Yep, they won Super Bowl 50. Fittingly for head coach Sean Payton he has crafted a team much like those champions: a workmanlike offense backed up by a vicious defense that has generated a league leading 46 sacks, 14 more than the next best. Patrick Mahomes will need to be on his toes. Updated at 9.07pm GMT 9.05pm GMT Final scores: Vikings 17-19 Bears, Giants 20-27 Packers Chicago escape Minnesota with a walk-off field goal. They almost threw that one away but Cairos Santos bails them out with a 48-yard boot. Updated at 9.05pm GMT 9.03pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Bills 44-32 Buccaneers 2:35, 4th quarter That could be the ballgame. Josh Allen is keen to hang on to his MVP title apparently. He scores his sixth total touchdown of the day with nine-yard run. Unbelievable. Tampa meanwhile look shattered. Updated at 9.03pm GMT 9.01pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Steelers 27-12 Bengals 3:40, 4th quarter Backup QB puts the Steelers out of sight against their AFC North rivals with a five-yard pass to Kenneth Gainwell. Odd say for Pittsburgh’s receiving crew as the backup running back has two passing touchdowns. TOUCHDOWN! Titans 13-13 Texans 1:35, 4th quarter Cam Ward draws Tennessee level with a short four-yard pass to Van Jefferson. 8.58pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Vikings 17-16 Bears 0:50, 4th quarter They are doing it again! JJ McCarthy throws his first touchdown of the day with a 15-yard strike to Jordan Addison. Two scores down and now they lead just like week one. Not much clock left for the Bears. 8.54pm GMT Bills 37-32 Buccaneers 7:51, 4th quarter Big stop for Buffalo. They force the punt after Mayfield’s pass stings the fingers of Shephard at Tampa’s 39-yard line. Big opportunity now for the Bills to get some breathing room. 8.52pm GMT Final score: Jaguars 35-6 Chargers Horrible day for the Chargers who benched Justin Herbert. They slip back to 7-4 and the Jaguars rise to 6-4. Jacksonville with a serious rebound after last week’s horroshow in Houston. 8.50pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Giants 20-27 Packers 4:02, 4th quarter Jordan Love hits Christian Watson with a pass right into the corner of the right corner in the end zone and somehow he hangs on with his feet tight-roping the right side of the sideline. Right! They then bag two points on the conversion. 8.47pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Bills 37-32 Buccaneers 9:06, 4th quarter Nine lead changes now. Allen fires another deep ball to put Buffalo five yards from scoring as Dawson Knox makes the 23-yard catch. Allen then keeps it and strolls home for his second rushing touchdown. Who else has whiplash? 8.45pm GMT Bills 31-32 Buccaneers 9:54, 4th quarter Curtis Samuel gets away with one! On 3rd down around midfield the receiver juggles a pass high into the air and just brings it in. The referees say he was out of bounds only to change their minds moments later. Excellent presence of mind to haul it in. A 22-yard pass for Davis then moves them about 30 yards away from the end zone. Updated at 8.48pm GMT 8.40pm GMT Vikings 10-16 Bears 7:25, 4th quarter Feel bad for JJ McCarthy out there. He has missed some throws but his receivers have had a serious case of the drops. A sixth punt on the way for Minnesota. 8.36pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Bills 31-32 Buccaneers 13:38, 4th quarter Eight lead changes. Eight! Tucker catches on a wheel route out to the right and there isn’t a defender remotely close. He puts the motors on and makes the ground for a 28-yard touchdown. What a day for Tucker. He has 104 on the ground, 28 in the air and a hat-trick of scores. 8.34pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Giants 20-19 Packers 7:22, 4th quarter We love you Jameis Winston! New York’s veteran journeyman bundles over on the goal line. Who’s excited for the postmatch presser if they win? Updated at 8.37pm GMT 8.32pm GMT Steelers 20-9 Bengals 12:54, 4th quarter Getting chippy in Pittsburgh. Jalen Ramsey is given an early bath after throwing a punch at a Bengal. 8.27pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Vikings 10-16 Bears 12:33, 4th quarter JJ McCarthy poised to take over again on offense with great field position. 10/22, 74 yards at 3.4 per play and two picks needs a bit of improvement. Only they don’t use the QB. Two runs and they are in the end zone. An eight-yard run followed by a 16 yarder by Jordan Mason and we have another comeback by the Vikes brewing. Watch out Chicago. 8.23pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Bills 31-26 Buccaneers 3:48, 3rd quarter We have a seventh lead change! After a Mayfield interception by Bishop the Bills strike back instantly. One play is all they need. Josh Allen finds his running back James Cook with a deep ball and a 25-yard touchdown. Still lots more points to be scored. Updated at 8.29pm GMT 8.20pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 35-6 Chargers 11:02, 4th quarter Jacksonville still have not punted. Travis Etienne bags his second touchdown of the day with a 13-yard dash. They have 150 total on the ground. Huge whiff from the 7-3 Chargers as their division rivals play each other later. TOUCHDOWN! Steelers 20-9 Bengals 15:00, 4th quarter New Steeler Kyle Dugger makes a big impact for his team. He picks off Joe Flacco and runs it back 75 yards for the pick six. Massive play considering Aaron Rodgers is off the field injured. 8.15pm GMT It’s GOOD! Bills 24-26 Buccaneers 5:01, 3rd quarter The Bills try and get James Cook rolling and the drive stalls. On 3rd down Allen can’t find Josh Palmer. Matt Prater makes the kick from 39 yards. 8.13pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 28-6 Chargers 11:38, 4th quarter This one has gone at absolute lightning speed. And the Jaguars are out of sight after a one-yard pass from Trevor Lawrence to Tim Patrick. Jacksonville have been absolutely ruthless today. They have punted a grand total of zero times. Not bad. 8.11pm GMT Bills 21-26 Buccaneers 6:33, 2nd quarter Buffalo are instantly in Tampa territory after a 44-yard kick return. And are almost in the red zone after one play as Shavers catches a pass for 21 yards. Play action confuses the defense to set up the easy gain. We have now had six lead changes in Buffalo, looks rather likely we are going to get a seventh. 8.08pm GMT It’s good! Steelers 13-9 Bengals 4:16, 3rd quarter Chris Boswell nails a 30-yard try. Before that Mason Rudolph came in for Aaron Rodgers at quarterback who exited with a hand injury. 8.06pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Bills 21-26 Buccaneers 7:26, 3rd quarter Too easy. Sean Tucker takes the hand off, bounces out to his right and that is all she wrote. His lead blocker Tristan Wirfs has no one to block and doubles as a stand-in cheerleader. The running back has 92 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns. Tampa fluff the two-point try. Updated at 8.07pm GMT 8.03pm GMT Bills 21-20 Buccaneers 7:31, 3rd quarter They just keep running. The Bills close on Mayfield but the QB reads it and scampers out to his right for eight yards and the 1st down. Six yards to go. 8.02pm GMT Bills 21-20 Buccaneers 9:02, 3rd quarter Some nice running plays put Tampa in the red zone. Sean Tucker goes through the middle for 14 yards then Stirling Shephard takes the jet sweep for seven more. 158 yards on the ground total. Third down and short now. 8.00pm GMT FUMBLE! Bills 21-20 Buccaneers 11:12, 3rd quarter The Bills just keep turning it over. This time they muff the punt return and Tampa recover. The 4th down came after a virtual measurement deep in Tampa territory. The robots are whirring and they say the Bucs are about a foot short of the line. 7.57pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Bills 21-20 Buccaneers, half-time No one open so Mayfield hits Tez Johnson on the sideline to set up the chip shot. Chase McLaughlin hits it and it’s NO good, blocked! Wait a minute! Defensive holding called against the Bills. Redo! McLaughlin makes it as time expires. That was an absolute rollercoaster. Monster passes, slashing runs, turnovers and magic from both quarterbacks. Pinch me. 7.31pm GMT Bills 21-17 Buccaneers 0:09, 2nd quarter Buffalo call the timeout with the Bucs only 32 yards away after a 10-yard pass and a defensive delay of game penalty. Vikings 3-10 Bears 0:35, 2nd quarter McCarthy’s day just keeps getting rougher. He is picked off in the end zone after going for it all. Falcons 21-7 Panthers 7:51, 2nd quarter Carolina really struggling now. They have conceded three scores in succession as this time Tyler Algeier bangs in from one yard out. I said there was no one better than Bijan but his mate Tyler would probably be your second choice. That was his first carry of the day too. Generous. Bijan has 75 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns. Updated at 7.18pm GMT 7.13pm GMT PICK! Vikings 3-7 Bears 3:45, 2nd quarter After a good start JJ McCarthy is picked off at midfield. Bills 14-17 Buccaneers 5:17, 2nd quarter Allen is picked off again! Only this one is a little less on him. Again the Bucs pass rush apply the pressure and Allen lets it go. Tykee Smith gets his hand in and pops up the ball before it reaches Dawson Knox then SirVocea Dennis (double checks spelling …) yes, SirVocea Dennis makes the interception. Any Busta Rhymes fans in? I guess Allen made the Pass to SirVocea … 7.05pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Vikings 3-7 Bears 4:55, 2nd quarter Rookie runner Kyle Monangai gets the goal line carry and finishes it off up the middle to give the Bears the lead. What a game we have here! 6.59pm GMT Bills 14-10 Buccaneers 5:58, 2nd quarter The Bucs are back at midfield after some punishing runs by Rachaad White. He even stiff armed his own teammate Egbuka there on his way for a 1st down. On the next set the wheels come off a touch as Egbuka drops an easy ball then a short pass is blown up behind the line. On 3rd and 12 Mayfield hits a wide open Stirling Shepherd to move the sticks. 45 yards to go. 6.54pm GMT Giants 7-6 Packers 12:44, 2nd quarter More unfortunate news for the Packers. Star running back Josh Jacobs has exited the field with an injury joining QB Jordan Love. 6.53pm GMT TOUCHDOWN! Bills 14-10 Buccaneers 8:52, 2nd quarter What a throw from the reining MVP. Bills 0-0 Buccaneers 9:51, 1st quarter Huge early moment in Buffalo as Josh Allen throws up a chest pass out of his own end zone and it is PICKED off. Punt. 6.23pm GMT Vikings 0-0 Bears 11:08, 1st quarter “You wanna get the juices flowing,” says Tom Brady on JJ McCarthy easing into Minnesota’s opening drive on offense as the QB completes a short pass. Tampa run it on first and third down and move those chains then again on the next play as Rachaad White breaks off a 12-yard dash. You would think there will be a lot more of that after Miami racked up 197 yards on the ground against the Bills last week. 6.23pm GMT Preamble Hello and welcome to week 11 football fans! The best day of the week is back only this time … it’s personal. Yes, they know what they did and the bill has come due, so get ready for an ultimate marathon of score settling. We have eight matchups across the slate (four in this window) between divisional rivals* that begin at 12pm CST/1pm EST/6pm GMT (home teams listed first) with: (3-6) Atlanta Falcons v Carolina Panthers (5-5)* (6-3) Buffalo Bills v Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3) (5-4) Jacksonville Jaguars v Los Angeles Chargers (7-3) (4-5) Minnesota Vikings v Chicago Bears (6-3)* (2-8) New York Giants v Green Bay Packers (5-3-1) (5-4) Pittsburgh Steelers v Cincinnati Bengals (3-6)* (1-8) Tennessee Titans v Houston Texans (4-5)* The highlight comes in the NFC North crunch encounter between Minnesota and Chicago. The Bears roll into town joint-top with an eye on a first playoff appearance since the 2020 season while the Vikings need a win to avoid slipping away from contention. Earlier in the season these two wrapped week one on Monday Night Football as JJ McCarthy did very little on his first NFL start until he did a whole lot in the final quarter leading an epic Minnesota comeback from 17-6 down to win 27-24. If the second-year quarterback can find his groove a little earlier in the contest at home then Minnesota’s tough defense will be hopeful they can finish the job with a vital victory for their own playoff hopes. Elsewhere, the SQC (Swashbuckling Quarterback Club) is having its AGM in Orchard Park this weekend so naturally the Bills and Bucs are going at it in western New York. The QBs in question Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield lead teams aiming for deep runs in January though both will be eager to rebound from painful defeats last week. Expect Tampa to test Buffalo’s sub-par run defense early. Let’s go!
