Kiké Hernández has elbow surgery and will miss World Baseball Classic

Kiké Hernández says he has undergone surgery on his left elbow, which bothered him for much of the past season. He will miss next year's World Baseball Classic, where he wanted to play for his native Puerto Rico. The free agent infielder and outfielder did not provide a timetable for his return.
