Rohit Sharma Loses It After 'Shocking' Former Teammate: 'Give Me An...' | Watch

Indian batting stalwart Rohit Sharma is enjoying his break from India duties after recently making his international return during the Australia tour. Rohit has been spending time with his family and relishing moments with old friends and teammates. On Thursday (November 6), the 38-year-old shared a hilarious clip of a prank he successfully pulled off on one of his former India and Mumbai teammates, Dhawal Kulkarni. In the amusing video he posted on Instagram, Rohit stunned Kulkarni with a trick pen that gives a minor electric shock. Interestingly, he managed to dodge the prank himself. At the beginning of the video, one of Rohit’s friends requests him for an autograph and gives him a pen. Immediately suspicious over the sudden request and the design of the pen, Rohit declines and warns his friend in jest to watch out for what he does. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rohit Sharma (@rohitsharma45) “Ro, can you give me an autograph?” the friend asks, to which Rohit inspects the pen and instantly recognises the prank. “This is not a pen,” he said. “Do you know what’s wrong with this? I’ll tell you now. I’ll use this on someone. Someone who is very, very special.” Before proceeding to play his prank on Kulkarni, Rohit gave the pen with the electric shock to another one of his friends and burst out laughing when he pressed it and received the shock. “What happened?” Rohit asked, to which his friend responded, “Hey, that’s what’s in it – shock.” Then came Kulkarni’s turn. The prank took place during a gym session with a few of Rohit’s domestic teammates, including fellow seamer Shardul Thakur. Rohit asked someone to give the pen to Kulkarni and waited for the reaction. As he checked the pen, Kulkarni received an electric shock and moved awkwardly. Rohit then muttered something as Kulkarni clicked the pen again and received another shock, much to the amusement of the India and Mumbai Indians superstar. Rohit ended the recent ODI series against Australia with a terrific hundred in Sydney, shutting his doubters after an extensive debate over his slipping form. The limited-overs legend will be back in action with the three-match ODI series against South Africa, starting November 30.

Allu Sirish Radiates Royal Elegance In A Manish Malhotra Sherwani At His Engagement

When it comes to fashion, the Allu family has long been synonymous with effortless elegance, and Allu Sirish’s engagement look just reaffirmed that legacy. On October 31, 2025, the actor got engaged to his longtime partner, Nayanika, in an intimate yet breathtaking ceremony in Hyderabad. The evening reflected everything the Allu family stands for – class, culture, and couture in seamless harmony. While the occasion was rooted in love and tradition, Sirish turned it into a masterclass in contemporary men’s fashion. His choice of attire – an ivory sherwani from Manish Malhotra’s atelier- was nothing short of regal. The ensemble blended timeless Indian craftsmanship with a refined modern sensibility, setting a new benchmark for grooms and groomsmen alike. Allu Sirish’s Manish Malhotra Look View this post on Instagram A post shared by Allu Sirish (@allusirish) Allu Sirish’s custom sherwani was a study in subtle grandeur. Crafted in fine silk, it featured intricate zardozi embroidery that caught the light in all the right ways, lending depth and texture without overpowering the silhouette. The ivory tone symbolised purity and understated luxury – a refreshing contrast to the brighter palettes that often dominate men’s occasionwear. But what truly elevated the look was Sirish’s bold styling choice – a statement Victorian diamond necklace. Daring yet deeply sophisticated, it added a royal flourish to his minimalist palette. Few men experiment with jewellery at this scale, but Sirish’s confidence made it look effortless. The necklace, with its old-world charm and modern edge, served as a nod to the resurgence of men’s jewellery in high fashion: a trend that balances strength with elegance. The engagement décor reflected the same refined aesthetic. Soft pastels, delicate florals, and warm lighting created a serene yet opulent atmosphere – one that complemented the couple’s understated charisma. Every frame radiated intimacy and grandeur in equal measure, making it as much a visual spectacle as a family celebration. Allu Sirish And Nayanika’s Love Story For Sirish, the day also marked a beautiful full circle. He first met Nayanika two years ago during Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s wedding celebrations. “That night was the first time Nayanika and I truly met. And now, two years later, we’re happily in love and engaged,” Sirish recalled on social media. The story, and the style, came together seamlessly. Allu Sirish’s engagement look wasn’t just about what he wore, but what it represented: the elegance of heritage meeting the confidence of the modern man.

New Book On Bangladesh Reveals How A 1:30 PM Call From India Saved Sheikh Hasina’s Life | Exclusive

Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina — who escaped 20 minutes before mobs barged into Ganabhaban in Dhaka — could have stayed back and faced the mob had she not received a telephone call from India that made her board the chopper in the afternoon for a cargo flight that would eventually take her to India, where she is in exile right now. Had Hasina not received that call at 1.30 pm on 5th August 2024 — the day she left Bangladesh — she could very well have been assassinated like her father, with a huge crowd just two kilometres away by then. This sensational revelation comes in a yet-to-be-released book, ‘Inshallah Bangladesh: The Story of an Unfinished Revolution‘ written by Deep Halder, Jaideep Mazumdar, and Sahidul Hasan Khokon and published by Juggernaut. While Indian aviation authorities had already permitted any aircraft carrying the Bangladesh prime minister to enter Indian airspace, the book claims even as late as 1.30 pm on 5th August 2024, Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman, along with the Air Force and Navy Chief, failed to convince “adamant” Hasina who tried to “implore her sister” Sheikh Rehana to persuade her. Even a call was made to Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wajeed who lives in the United States, who had a chat with Hasina to “fly to India”, even as the frenzied mob was advancing to Ganabhaban. But Hasina said she would “rather die than flee her country”. But what changed? In a minute, a call came from someone who is not identified in the book but described as “a top official in India whom Sheikh Hasina knew well”. What was the conversation about? “It was a short call. The official told Sheikh Hasina that it was already too late, and if she didn’t leave Gonobhaban immediately, she would be killed. He also told her that she should live to fight another day,” is how the call is narrated. She was taken aback by the blunt message. She took another half an hour to make up her mind to live to fight another day. A blunt message that Hasina seemed to have trusted more than her blood, at that very moment when a decision would mean life or death. Hasina requested to record a speech before leaving, which was denied by the service Chiefs, given anytime the mob was about to crash into Ganabhaban. Sheikh Rehana, the sister who tried to convince Hasina, pulled her into an SUV to whisk them to the helipad. Just two suitcases with clothes accompanied them to Delhi. At 2.23 pm, the chopper took off from Ganabhaban and landed at Tejgaon air base at 2.35 pm. “The aircraft took off from Tejgaon at 2.42 p.m. into the overcast skies, broke through the cloud cover and entered Indian airspace over Malda in West Bengal after about twenty minutes. The take-off coincided with another short spell of showers,” narrates the book. Later that day, which began as early as 4 am for Hasina, the C 170 J landed at Hindon Airbase, where she was welcomed by India’s National Defence Advisor Ajit Doval and taken to an undisclosed location in Delhi for her safety.

OpenAI Brings Sora AI Video Generation App To Android Users: What You Get

OpenAI is bringing the Sora AI video generation model in the form of an app for Android users from this week onwards. The iOS version came out last month but now people can download the AI video app from the Play Store but in select regions for now. As you might know, Sora is the AI model from OpenAI which can generate videos from text prompts or images. The feature is still locked in for the premium Plus and Pro users on the ChatGPT roster but making it available on Android suggests the free version won’t be far away. Sora AI App For Android: What It Offers Sora AI works the same way across the web and mobile version. The mobile app is comparatively crisp and simple to use. You have a Reels-like interface which lets you create videos using text prompt or by uploading images. You can even add friends in the videos and share the edited version with people to get likes and more reach. It also lets you remix the AI video in your personal way. Sora also has a feed of AI videos from other people that you can discover. See it as a Reels for AI videos. Sora AI on Android is available in these regions: India is a surprising but an understandable omission from the list as many of the users in the country have signed up for the ChatGPT Go version (or the free offer) which does not offer Sora feature. But we expect that to change in the near future as OpenAI looks to bring more users to these platforms to help them train the AI models and make them better. OpenAI is facing the heat from the Japanese anime creators who have written a letter to the AI company warning it about using their licensed content to train their AI models. We’ve seen images being generated using the Studio Ghibli and other anime style prompts, and now Content Overseas Distribution Association (CODA), the body working with these creators has raised concerns about OpenAI using the content to train its AI video models for Sora as well. The creator body has mentioned in its letter that use of the licensed content was not ideal and has requested OpenAI to stop using the anime to train its Sora 2 video generation model.

Sputtering offense dooms Raiders in defensive struggle with Broncos

DENVER—The struggle continues for the Las Vegas Raiders to get anything in terms of momentum. On Thursday, the Raiders dropped a defensive showdown 10-7 to the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High, leading to their rival’s seventh straight win. Falling to 2-7 on the year, playoffs appear to be a pipe dream for the Raiders at this juncture, and the team now hopes to play spoiler the rest of the way to try and have something to build around. Here are some of the major points in a game that felt like a slog to go through at times. Defense does it part… Despite the loss, the Raiders defense did their part to keep their team in the fight. Adam Butler and Charles Snowden both came away with sacks in the game, and Kyu Blu Kelly notched two interceptions against Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. Outside of a 43-yard bomb to Pat Bryant, the Raiders avoided falling for the explosive plays that have doomed them in the past. Keeping a top team in the league to 10 points is at least worth something, even if it ultimately did not produce a winning result. …Offense does not While the defense came through, the offense could never fully take advantage of the situation. The Raiders came away with little offensively, with far too many drives coming up empty. Ashton Jeanty struggled with 3.2 yards per carry, despite coming up with the only touchdown of the game, and receivers outside of Tyler Lockett could not get open consistently. It was a frustrating night altogether in a game that the Raiders could have easily pulled off a major upset. Pressure bursts pipes The offensive line has been one of the more maligned units for the Raiders, and it popped up again this game. The Broncos were able to hit Geno Smith regularly, with the quarterback going down for six sacks. Even worse was that it came while the Raiders were marching down the field, particularly when Talanoa Hufanga sacked Smith to turn the ball over on downs (which lead to the Broncos’ only touchdown of the game) and a fourth-quarter sack after the second of Kelly’s interceptions. It messed up the ability of the offense to find a rhythm, and it will surely be a point of emphasis in practice next week.

Sonam Khan Recalls Shooting First Bikini Scene With Rishi Kapoor: 'Was Made To Feel Extremely...'

Actress Sonam Khan has opened up about a memorable moment from her early career days when she shot her first-ever bikini scene, and that too opposite Rishi Kapoor. Sonam Khan, who worked with the late superstar in Yash Chopra’s Vijay, reveals that while she was nervous, Yash Chopra and Rishi Kapoor ensured that the shoot went well. Sharing the video, Sonam Khan wrote, “Reflecting on my first day of shooting for Vijay… I was quite nervous. It was my first time facing the camera, and I was wearing a bikini for the scene, which was shot on Madh Island. Thankfully, everything went well, thanks to Yash ji and Rishi Kapoor Sir.” Have a look here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sonam Khan (@sonamkhan_72) She added, “Maybe I will get trolled for sharing this reel or maybe not, but I don’t mind, as I was working to support my parents. I was indeed a very brave girl to do my first shoot, especially in a bikini. When I saw this reel today, I just patted myself on the back for being who I was then and who I am today—completely and unapologetically myself. Whether people judge me or not is their prerogative! My parents and the Almighty above know it all, and that is what I care about.” The video features Sonam Khan looking stunning in a red bikini as she lies on the beach in water with Rishi Kapoor in a romantic scene. In the clip, Rishi’s character notices her heartbeat racing and asks her about it, to which Sonam responds, “Dhadak nahi raha hai, kuch keh raha hai. Suno kya keh raha hai.” The clip also stirred nostalgia in the hearts of Vijay fans. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sonam Khan (@sonamkhan_72) Last month, Sonam had shared a clip of her bikini beach run from the film. “Coming back to the scene, whenever Yash ji said ‘cut’ after a take, my hairstylist would come running towards me with my dressing gown. I was made to feel extremely comfortable, all thanks to Yash ji and Rishi Kapoor Sir, as both had instructed my hairstylist to do the above. They had so much class and dignity. And so, with this exact scene, my journey in the Indian movie industry began,” the actress had written.

Swara Bhasker Reflects On Parenthood: ‘It Flips Your World, Everything Feels More Meaningful’

Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad have been devotedly embracing their parenting duties for their daughter, Raabiyaa. The couple is currently appearing on Pati Patni Aur Panga, and the latest episode turned out to be quite an emotional one for them. In the episode, celebrity pairs Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, and Sudesh and Mamta Lehri faced the ultimate challenge of managing a ‘baby’ while juggling household chaos. For Swara, the cheerful and light-hearted segment quickly turned emotional when she saw the infants, reminding her of her own daughter waiting at home. As she watched the chaos unfold, she reflected on her journey of motherhood from sleepless nights to moments of pure joy, and how little Raabiyaa had deepened her bond with Fahad. “Parenthood flips your world upside down, but in a way that makes everything feel more meaningful. Like every couple, Fahad and I have our differences; we don’t always agree on everything, but when it comes to our daughter, we’re one team, always. We’ve found our own way as parents and the way he steps in, encourages me, understands the madness of my work life it makes me feel seen and supported every single day,” she said. Swara Bhasker On Her Bond With Fahad Ahmad Swara Bhasker added that sometimes she just watches Fahad play with Raabiyaa. Those everyday things make her fall more in love with him than before. For them, parenting has not just been about raising a child, but also about growing together, finding patience, and rediscovering joy, and this assignment on the show immediately reminded her of the small, precious heartbeat waiting for her at home. Swara Bhasker’s Life Lately Swara and Fahad first met during a demonstration and dated for some time before making their relationship public. Why Suryakumar Yadav Shouted At Shivam Dube During 4th T20I Against Australia

Known for his affable personality, Suryakumar Yadav on Thursday lost his temper at India teammate Shivam Dube during the fourth T20I against Australia at the Carrara Oval in Queensland. Surya gave the all-rounder a piece of his mind after gifting a boundary to Marcus Stoinis. The incident occurred after the final delivery of the 12th over as Dube bowled a short delivery to Stoinis and allowed the new batter to free his arm as he swatted the ball away for a four over backward point. This broke a sequence of three fine deliveries from the medium pacer who had conceded a six off the second delivery to Tim David before removing the danger man off the next. Dube followed that with a couple of dot deliveries in what was a crucial phase of the contest where India had set Australia 168 to win. Surya was seen shouting at Dube while venting his frustration at the poor delivery. The over ended as Dube took an important wicket but also conceded 11 runs with Australia 95/4 in 12 overs and needing 73 runs to win off 48 balls. The hosts were eventually bowled out for 119 in 18.2 overs with Washington Sundar taking three wickets in eight deliveries while Axar Patel and Shivam Dube finishing with two wickets each. India won the contest by 48 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. With the opening match of the series being washed out due to rain, India now have an unbeatable lead going into the final match of their white-ball tour of Australia. “167 on this ground is definitely a good score because the quality bowling we have, the spinners, the fast bowlers…I trust them and the whole team trust our bowlers,” Dube told reporters after the match. “Definitely it’s a T20 game and any of the batter can come and smack but on this ground where the side boundaries are big, we had planned it very nicely and we had confidence that we can stop them,” he added. The fifth T20I will be played at The Gabba in Brisbane On Saturday.

Shefali Shah On 8-Hour Shift Debate In Bollywood: ‘Male Actors Come Late...’

Shefali Shah has expressed her views on the ongoing eight-hour shift demand in Bollywood. In a recent interview, the actress, who is gearing up for the release of Delhi Crimes 3, shared that the discussion regarding long shift hours in Bollywood was much needed. “We are reasonable people. So, we realise [the need to accommodate] if a location is not available tomorrow or something has to be done now. But it can’t be the norm,” she told Mid-Day. “I take one-and-a-half hours to reach the set and the same time to return. For those hours on set, I give it my all. I go back home, and hopefully, I can go to the gym because that’s part of my job. Then I will shower, eat, go back to the script, and then wake up the next morning for another day of work. How many hours of sleep am I getting? And how are you expecting me to come with my A-game?” Shah added. Shefali mentioned that with the long work hours, it is not just the actor who suffers but also the crew. “On one of the last films I shot for, which had a 10-hour schedule, some of the ADs said, ‘Thank God, she leaves because that way we get to go.’ The rest of the crew doesn’t get paid extra [for the overtime]. Is it fair to them?” she shared. Shefali further took a dig at the male actors who arrive late for the shoot and added, “We [female actors] are talking about eight hours and 10 hours contractually, but have we even accounted for the number of hours some male actors come late? That’s not even considered!” For the unversed, the work-life balance in Bollywood started after Sandeep Reddy Vanga removed Deepika Padukone from Prabhas starrer Spirit earlier this year. Reports suggest that her demands, including eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film’s profits, did not sit well with director Vanga. Deepika, a new mother, is reportedly seeking to balance her work and personal life by reducing her working hours. Several celebrities, including Vikrant Massey, Rashmika Mandanna, Yami Gautam and Anurag Basu, have come out in support of Deepika amid the ongoing discussion. “Today, the whole country is debating about flexible hours, but that is for discussion amongst the teams and figuring out what works for them. It’s their personal choices,” Rashmika said recently during an interview with Mojo Story.

Despite the selling pressure, gold and silver remain well-supported at lower levels. The dollar index has eased from its 3-month peak, and uncertainty around the U.S. government shutdown is driving investors toward safe-haven assets. Rising geopolitical tensions are also lending support. Technically, gold’s key make-or-break level stands at $3,855, while silver is defending the $46.70 support zone.” What Factors Affect Gold Prices In India? International market rates, import duties, taxes, and fluctuations in exchange rates primarily influence gold prices in India. Together, these factors determine the daily gold rates across the country. In India, gold is deeply cultural and financial. It is a preferred investment option and is key to celebrations, particularly weddings and festivals. With constantly changing market conditions, investors and traders monitor fluctuations closely. Staying updated is crucial for effectively navigating dynamic trends. (With inputs from agencies)

NCERT’s New Class 7 Maths Textbook Highlights India’s Early Contributions To Algebra & Geometry

The recently released Class 7 mathematics textbook by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) features several references to India’s ancient contributions to the field. It states that many key mathematical concepts, including algebra, were first developed by Indian mathematicians, according to a report by The Indian Express. This is the second part of NCERT’s Ganita Prakash textbook for Class 7. The first part, released earlier this year, also highlighted India’s mathematical heritage. The newly released Part 2 draws from Sanskrit texts, includes problems inspired by the work of ancient Indian scholars, and even discusses an early Indian text on geometry. One chapter in the book talks about integers, which are positive and negative numbers. It mentions the 7th-century mathematician Brahmagupta and his well-known text Brahmasphutasiddhanta. The textbook says this was the first time anyone clearly explained how to multiply and divide positive and negative numbers. It describes this as an important milestone in the history of mathematics because it helped shape both arithmetic and algebra. The chapter also includes Brahmagupta’s rules for these calculations and gives students a problem based on his methods. It adds that India’s work in algebra was among the earliest known in the world. A section on algebraic equations refers to ‘bijaganita’, a term now associated with algebra, and notes that “forming expressions using symbols and solving equations with such expressions was an important part of mathematical studies in ancient India”. The textbook explains how Brahmagupta worked with unknown quantities represented by letters, describing it as one of the earliest known examples of algebraic thinking. The book goes on to trace how Indian mathematical ideas travelled to the Arab world. “In the 8th century, Indian mathematical ideas were translated into Arabic,” it says, adding that these influenced Al-Khwarizmi, a mathematician from present-day Iraq. Around 825 CE, Al-Khwarizmi wrote Hisab al-jabr wal-muqabala, which means “calculation by restoring and balancing”. The textbook notes that his work was translated into Latin by the 12th century and spread to Europe. “The word al-jabr from his book gave us the word algebra, which we still use today,” it adds. It also lists the symbols that Indian mathematicians from Brahmagupta’s era used to represent unknowns and gives an example of a maths problem from Bijaganita, written by Bhaskaracharya in the 12th century. ALSO READ: JNUSU Polls: Left Unity Sweeps All 4 Central Posts After Close Contest With ABVP A chapter on geometry titled Constructions and Tilings describes the Sulba-Sutras, ancient Indian texts that explained how to construct perpendicular lines and bisectors using ropes. “Ancient mathematicians from different civilisations, including India, knew exact methods to construct perpendiculars and bisectors. In India, the earliest known texts containing these methods are the Sulba-Sutras, which deal with the construction of fire altars for rituals,” it says. The earlier Class 7 mathematics textbook did not contain any references to ancient Indian scholars. NCERT has been releasing new textbooks in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework, both of which call for including ‘Indian Knowledge Systems’ in school education.

100 flights delayed at Delhi Airport due to a technical issue with ATC system

New Delhi [India], November 7 (ANI): At least 100 flights were delayed on Friday morning at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) due to a technical issue with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system, according to Delhi Airport.Passengers have been advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight updates. In a post on X, Delhi Airport shared, “Due to a technical issue with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system, flight operations at IGIA are experiencing delays. Their team is actively working with all stakeholders, including DIAL, to resolve it at the earliest.” Passenger Advisory issued at 08:34 Hours#DelhiAirport #PassengerAdvisory #DELAdvisory pic.twitter.com/ckfpibIazv — Delhi Airport (@DelhiAirport) November 7, 2025 “Passengers are advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest flight updates. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused,” the post read. Air traffic control (ATC) refers to a ground-based service in which controllers manage and guide the movement of aircraft both on the ground and within controlled airspace.Meanwhile, earlier, Air India introduced a “Flexi Contract for Pilots,” a new work model that allows flight crew to choose shorter duty patterns while maintaining operational smoothness. The airline says the plan aims to match pilots’ preferences with roster needs, focusing on work-life balance without compromising efficiency.Under the policy, Line Pilots and Line Training Captains on A320, B777 and A350 fleets are eligible. Junior First Officers, Type Rating Instructors and Direct Entry pilots are not. The contract offers two fixed patterns: for wide-body aircraft, 15 days on and 15 days off; for narrow-body aircraft, 20 days on and 10 days off. Annual leave aligns with these rosters–eight privilege and four sick leaves for wide-body pilots, and 12 privilege plus six sick leaves for narrow-body colleagues. The contract tenure will be 12 months, which can be extended at the company’s discretion. After the contract ends, pilots return to their original terms.Air India states that selection is made through an Expression of Interest process, with seniority and operational needs guiding the final list. An exit needs three months’ notice. If a pilot is selected for a fleet or command upgrade, the pilot returns to the original contract from the start of training; if an upgrade is refused, the existing career policy on freezes applies. The company may also revert a pilot to the old contract if required, and this does not change pay terms that applied before switching to flexi terms. (ANI)

Rupee drops 3 paise to 88.66 against US dollar in early trade

Mumbai, Nov 7 (PTI) The rupee declined 3 paise to 88.66 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday as the American currency strengthened against major rivals and foreign investors kept on withdrawing funds from the Indian capital market. According to forex traders, the Indian rupee was also weighed down amid intense selling in domestic equity markets and upward movement in crude oil prices in the overseas market. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 88.61 and slid further to trade at 88.66 against the greenback in early deals, registering a loss of 3 paise from its previous closing level. The domestic unit had settled with a gain of 7 paise at 88.66 against the dollar on Thursday. Meanwhile, the dollar index, which gauges the greenback’s strength against a basket of six currencies, rose 0.08 per cent to 99.66. Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, was higher by 0.39 per cent but remained lower at USD 63.62 per barrel in futures trade. “Crude oil prices fell on Thursday amid investor concerns over a possible oversupply and signs of softening demand in the United States, the leading global consumer of oil,” said Anand James, Chief Market Strategist, Geojit Investments Limited. In the domestic equity market, Sensex crashed 610.92 points or 0.73 per cent to 82,700.09 in early trade while Nifty tanked 169.50 points or 0.66 per cent to 25,340.20. Foreign institutional investors sold equities worth Rs 3,263.21 crore on Thursday, according to exchange data. According to a monthly survey released on Thursday, India’s services sector growth witnessed the slowest pace of expansion in five months in October, as competitive pressures and heavy rains in parts of the country led to a slower increase in output. The seasonally adjusted HSBC India Services PMI Business Activity Index fell from 60.9 in September to 58.9 in October, indicating the slowest pace of expansion since May. PTI HVA DR DR
