New saviour… or Pied Piper?

Folks are still flailing around trying to understand – and explain – what happened in the Sept 1 elections…and your Eyewitness expects this to go on for a while. After all, there ain’t a single explanation for any one thing happening, is there?? In this, the “one thing” being the trouncing of the PNC – and your Eyewitness is being kind here!! – by Sanction Man’s WIN party. Just losing would’ve been bad enough – but losing to a fella with very serious US OFAC sanctions for smuggling gold and a Lambo hanging over his head – who then launches a party a mere three months before the elections to clobber the PNC?? Ahhh…the shame…the shame!! How the heck did Sanction Man – who can barely string together two coherent sentences and hides behind his sisters’ skirts via Facebook posts – get all these people from the traditional PNC to follow him?? Well being a graduate of British colonial indoctrination, your Eyewitness remembers the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. Don’t you, dear Reader?? It’s about that fella – wearing eye-catching bright, gaudy clothing – who suddenly appears in the latter town that was being plagued by rats!! He tells the good citizens he can get rid of their pestilential plague – for a fee, of course. He duly plays his pipe and leads all the rats out of the town!! Isn’t this what happened to the good folks in the PNC who were plagued – according to their bright boy WPA ally led by Black Pudding Man – by the PPP, whose plan was to keep them living like rats!! Their leader Norton wasn’t taking on the PPP as he’d promised and they were so fed up that when Sanction Man suddenly showed up with his designer glasses, off-the-rack designer garb and most importantly doling out oodles of money, they didn’t need no fancy talk. Calling themselves know-nothing “Scrapeheads”, they turned the story on its head and became the rats who followed the Pied Piper!! They even overlooked the irony of a fella who’d corrupted the system by bribing officials – criticising PPP’s corruption!! Pot calling cahari black!! For good measure, Sanction Man was willing to cuss down the PPP – which sealed the deal when he launched a political party three months before the elections!! Goodbye Norton, hello Sanction Man!! But the rats…er…folks who followed the Pied Piper should remember that he returned to demand payment and when the townsfolks balked, he led away their children – read their future!! And that’s what Sanction Man’s doing right now innit? Frittering away any chance of helping Scrapeheads with his unrealistic greedy demands to control everything to destroy the PNC and PPP!! …in Parliament It’d be funny if it weren’t so pitiful. Here we have a bunch of geriatric WPA Pied Pipers playing tunes from the seventies to the PNC– landing them on the road to extinction. Seems they forget that as time marches on, the tune that captures the inner Geist of the people also changes. So these out of tune, wanna-be Scrape-catchers turned up at various villages in our fair land to lure the residents into following them on some Quixotic – and dangerous – path. Failing to gain traction they were adopted by Norton into the PNC!! Norton sent their failed “presidential candidate”, Black Pudding Man to Parliament where he’s gonna soon not only be eligible for TWO duty-free cars – but free food during Parliamentary sittings!! Your Eyewitness hopes the Speaker ensures Black Pudding is sourced from Buxton and not Lusignan!! Your Eyewitness has his popcorn ready for the debates between Black Pudding Man and Sanction Man!! He hopes PNC parliamentary leader, Chicken Man, will allow Black Pudding man to expose his irrelevance!! …on development While the new struggle for global hegemony’s playing out between the US and China, after the two wear each other out on the ropes – it’s be a new multipolar world. We’re gonna have more competition vying for our oil fund driven development!!

Uncertain, yet hopeful: Afghan refugees in Delhi hail Kabul outreach with tears of joy

New Delhi, Oct 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) In the lanes and bylanes of New Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar, shops hug each other seemingly in endless clusters, selling wares from utensils to clothing to furnishing and whatnots. Ensconced between such outlets are the popular eateries, some of which proclaim their specialisation in Afghan cuisine. Since Monday, October 13, a meeting of some Afghan-origin representatives with visiting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, some members of the community reflected a mix of cautious hope, frustration, and anxiety about their future. “These were talks by big men in big rooms; it won’t bring us relief tomorrow (in the near future). We’re the nowhere people and need an identity; there’s no job for me, nor any school for my children,” sighed Khaleed, before pedaling away to melt in the crowd. “Yes, there are hardships as a refugee. But India has accepted us. I thank the government for granting us asylum and the people of this great country, who support us even when we can’t show any document, except a refugee card,” said Faisal Payenda, Chairman, Afghan Refugee Community in India. Payenda, who stays in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, took shelter in India in 2015. He said he has heard about the Muttaqi meeting. According to him, there are an estimated 15,000 Afghan refugees in the capital at the moment. He remains optimistic, though cautious. Many community members reflected that sentiment. They feel the current diplomatic engagement underscores India’s historic ties with Afghanistan. They say that clearer lines of communication with Kabul might allow India to negotiate safeguards for Afghans who are already settled in India, or to channel humanitarian assistance more predictably. With a functional embassy, it will be easier for them to extend the duration of their passports, which will, in turn, facilitate visa processing. They also need clearance from the embassy and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to initiate bank operations. Ahmad Faisal, currently staying in a two-room accommodation in Bhogal, also said that he was aware of some Afghan representatives meeting Muttaqi. He too came to India in 2015, accompanied by his parents and six siblings. Beginning as a sundry salesman, he is now engaged with a fellow-Afghan, who has been in India for over three decades, in running one of Lajpat Nagar’s better-known restaurants serving Afghan food. “I know some representatives have met the visiting Foreign Minister. I heard about some talks of handing ownership of properties we’d left in a hurry. But how can I return now? I feel safer here,” said Faisal, sitting behind his tiny desk at the eatery. “Yes, without any identity we’re stateless today, but at least alive,” he argued. Though there was an influx of Afghan asylum seekers in India soon after the Taliban took control of Kabul in 2021, many have since migrated to other countries. Though the UNHCR and civil society actors are actively supporting them, there are constraints for the diaspora -- which is common for any refugee in any part of the world. Still, the community sheds a drop of tear of joy, in hope that the meetings will soon be followed by parallel, concrete commitments to protect and regularise their lot. Source: IANS

Mohamed and WIN failed supporters after 1st real test

Dear Editor, The first real political test for Azrudin Mohamed and WIN came with the swearing-in of councillors for the ten Regional Demographic Councils and the elections for Chair and Vice-Chair for the ten geographic regions. By all indications and by any standard, Mohamed and WIN failed miserably. The PPP won elections for chair of eight (8) of the 10 regions – Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9. The PPP also won elections for seven of the 10 Vice-Chairs – Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9. WIN won elections for the Chair and Vice-Chair of Region 7. The election for Chair in Region10 ended in a deadlock between the candidate nominated by the PNC-led APNU and the candidate nominated by WIN. When there is a deadlock between candidates, the person who ends up as Chair depends on a casting vote by the Minister of Local Government. Unless there is a negotiation between parties to end the deadlock, Minister Priya Manikchand will now have to cast a vote to determine whether the Regional Chairman will be the PNC-led APNU candidate or the WIN candidate. The reality was for WIN to offer APNU the VC position in Region 10. But that would not be enough to win APNU’s support since the PPP’s offer to APNU was the Chair’s position and to take the VC position. Clearly, for WIN, the challenge was to make their offer more attractive than the PPP’s offer, and there were varied ways to do so. WIN showed they lacked the experience to managed this situation. They failed. As in Regions 4 and 8, none of the political parties had a clear majority of seats to determine the Chair and Vice-Chair for Regions 4, 8, and 10. It means that negotiation between the parties had to take place to determine who would be the Chairs and Vice-Chairs of these Regions. We know that the PNC-led APNU and WIN parties had negotiations. The PNC-led APNU issued a statement confirming those negotiations took place. WIN has not denied that negotiations took place. The PNC-led APNU stated unequivocally that the negotiations collapsed without any agreements. In Region 4, therefore, the voting for Chair and Vice-Chair ended up with at least one member from the PNC-led APNU, FGM or WIN voting for the candidate nominated by the PPP. We cannot know which opposition councillor voted for the PPP candidate because it was a secret ballot. From public statements by various councillors, it appears that the person from the opposition that voted for the PPP was an APNU councillor. Since WIN candidates indicated they left their ballots blank, the 17 PPP votes for VC in Region 4 were more than enough to give the PPP the VC position also. Given that there were negotiations that took place between WIN and APNU, in their first big political test, WIN failed. Even though the PPP had by far the largest number of seats in the Region 4 council, WIN had a chance to make a deal with the PNC and FGM to block the PPP. WIN failed. Given that the PPP controls central government, WIN, APNU and FGM, as responsible opposition parties, had an obligation and an opportunity to ensure that the largest RDC did not end up in the hands of the PPP. This, in particular, was a test for WIN, as the party that would lead the opposition in parliament, to demonstrate it had the ability to rattle the PPP. It failed miserably. Region 8 elections ended with the PPP candidate for Chair and the APNU candidate for VC elected. Clearly, this meant that the PPP and the PNC-led APNU succeeded in negotiating an outcome. The PPP and WIN were in the exact position in Region 8 and clearly the PPP successfully negotiated with APNU for the Chair while conceding the VC position to APNU. This was a loss for WIN as it allowed the PPP to control another Region that WIN could have denied them. In Region 10, another important region for any political party that is determined to play an effective role in the next five years, the opportunity to lock out the PPP exists. The fact that the election for Chair ended up in a deadlock between the APNU and WIN candidates when WIN only needs one vote to covet the Chair’s position signals the inability of WIN to effectively negotiate. It appears likely, therefore, that the PNC-led candidate would end up as Chair of Region 10 with a likely PPP-nominated candidate as the VC. The WIN leadership showed they lack political agility and political pragmatism to effectively represent their supporters. In their very first test, Mohamed and WIN failed. Now they are crying, bemoaning the fact that APNU did not support them and crying crocodile tears that the PPP now has prominence in nine of the 10 RDCs, with the possibility of having eight of the 10 Chair and VC positions, with WIN and the PNC-led APNU, each, having one Chair and VC positions. The failure in their first political test has ramifications for WIN’s role in parliament. Parliament is not merely about debates and “pompositing”. Almost daily and almost in every sitting, there must be negotiation. While WIN definitely will have the leader of the opposition role, the question is whether they can rely on the support of the MPs from APNU and FGM. Can WIN effectively prevent the PPP from getting its way when there is need for a two-thirds majority votes in parliament? For example, there is the need for two-thirds majorities during the work of the Appointments Committee. Wherever there is need for more than majority support, can WIN effectively align the opposition votes? Parliament’s convening will take place in a matter of days – at least, before November2. The first major votes will be for the speaker and the deputy speaker. The PPP will nominate its candidate for the speaker’s position and will win that vote, with or without any support from the opposition WIN, APNU or FGM MPs. The PPP is likely to not oppose a candidate for the deputy speaker from amongst the opposition MPs. This is where a second test for WIN will emerge. Will they negotiate a consensus opposition candidate or will they allow multiple candidates with WIN, APNU and FGM nominating their own candidates? Will they allow the PPP to pick-and-choose? WIN’s failure in the RDC elections for Chairs and VCs raises serious doubts whether they would be able to mobilize and align the opposition’s strength in parliament to oppose the PPP. WIN’s leader has reverted to crying and moaning over the results of the elections for Chair and VC in the RDCs. Instead, he needs to recognize that the voters have crafted, intentionally or unintentionally, the reality that mature, practical and pragmatic negotiations must take place. What WIN clearly demonstrated in this first test is that their approach so far lacks practicality, pragmatism and maturity. Crying like a spoilt brat is not the answer. Representing their supporters is their obligation, a responsibility that they have so far spectacularly failed to deliver. Yours sincerely, Dr Leslie Ramsammy

‘Facing threat, abuse for questioning RSS’: says K’taka Minister Priyank Kharge

Bengaluru, Oct 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) Karnataka Minister for RDPR, IT and BT, Priyank Kharge, stated on Tuesday that he and his family have been subjected to threats and abuse for the past two days for questioning the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and demanding a ban on its activities in public spaces. Taking to social media X, Minister Priyank, son of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, stated, "For the past two days, my phone hasn’t stopped ringing. Calls filled with threats, intimidation and the filthiest abuse directed at me and my family, simply because I dared to question and restrain RSS activities in government schools, colleges and public institutions." "But I’m neither shaken nor surprised. When the RSS didn’t spare Mahatma Gandhi or Babasaheb Ambedkar, why would they spare me?" he questioned. "If they think threats and personal jibes will silence me, they are mistaken. This has just begun," he challenged. Priyank further stated, "It is time to build a society founded on the principles of Buddha, Basavanna and Babasaheb, society rooted in equality, reason and compassion and purge this nation of the most dangerous viRuSS." Priyank Kharge had written a letter to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah regarding a ban on RSS activities in public spaces and in the premises of schools and college grounds, stirring a controversy. Countering this, the BJP released a photo showing Mallikarjun Kharge at an RSS meeting in Bengaluru and slammed him. Priyank Kharge, further defending his demand to ban the public activities of the RSS, said on Monday that his father had gone to an RSS event only to warn them against creating mischief. Also, responding to the incident of a suicide by a Kerala man allegedly because of years of sexual abuse at RSS camps, Priyank Kharge alleged that sexual harassment is happening within the RSS in the state as well. Kharge stated, "If one sees the victim Kerala man's post on Instagram, one can clearly state that he had undergone sexual harassment at the RSS events. It's not only in Kerala, it is happening in our state as well (Karnataka)." "One Hanume Gowda has written a book in this regard on how in the RSS sexual harassment is given. I have been telling that the RSS is the most secretive organization in the whole world. Why this secrecy and who are they?" Minister Priyank Kharge questioned. Source: IANS

JD(U) MP offers to resign, cites ‘neglect’ of local leadership in ticket distribution

Patna, Oct 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) In a major political development ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Janata Dal (United) MP from Bhagalpur, Ajay Kumar Mandal, has written a letter to Chief Minister and party president Nitish Kumar, expressing his desire to resign from the Lok Sabha. In his letter, Mandal cited discontent over the party's internal functioning and ticket distribution process, alleging that the opinions of local leaders and district presidents were being ignored. "With your blessings and guidance, I have been serving the people of Bhagalpur as an MLA and MP for the last 20–25 years. In this long political journey, I have worked to strengthen the Janata Dal (U) as my own family," Mandal wrote. He said that in recent months, decisions within the organisation have been taken without consulting local representatives, which, according to him, was not a good sign for the party's future. "Despite being the local MP, I am not being consulted in the process of distributing tickets for the Assembly elections. People who have never worked for the organisation are being considered for tickets, while the opinion of the district president and local leadership is being completely ignored," the MP said. Highlighting his loyalty to the party, Mandal reminded Nitish Kumar that during the 2019 bypolls, his was the only seat in Bihar that JD(U) won under his leadership, a testament, he said, to the public's trust and his dedication to the organisation. The Bhagalpur MP expressed disappointment over being "denied access" to meet the Chief Minister, saying, "I am not being allowed to meet you, nor is my opinion being heard. In such a situation, it is difficult for me to understand the justification for remaining an MP." Mandal emphasised that his letter was not an act of rebellion, but a plea to safeguard the party's future. "My purpose is not to show displeasure but to save the party and your leadership from any future harm. If external or inactive people continue to get priority, the roots of the party will weaken, and it will directly affect your leadership," he stated. Concluding his letter, Mandal urged Nitish Kumar to accept his resignation as a matter of self-respect and commitment to party values. "Therefore, with true loyalty to the organisation, I humbly request you to grant me permission to resign from my post as an MP," he wrote. Party sources said Mandal's move reflects growing unease among sections of the JD(U) leadership over the centralised ticket distribution process and reduced consultation with grassroots leaders. The full list of UK travellers unaffected by new EU border rules

UK travellers heading to the EU could encounter a new system. Airports throughout the continent have been implementing the new Entry/Exit System (EES) digital platform from October 12. This means most non-EU nationals will need to register their biometric data at one of 29 participating nations, including several popular holiday destinations such as Spain and Greece. Some UK travellers will be required to have their face photographed and their fingerprints scanned before they can enter Europe's Schengen zone. As the programme gradually launches, travellers will soon no longer need to have their passports stamped due to the new system, reports the Manchester Evening News. Despite this, as the scheme is in its early days, many holidaymakers have been warned that they could face delays of up to four hours at the airport. Julia Lo Bue-Said, chief executive of Advantage Travel Partnership, said: "Make sure, where possible, you're leaving yourself between three and four hours from the point of entry. "You may be going for a concert, you may be going for a meeting, you may be going for a wedding, for a cruise. If you're not leaving yourself enough time and you unfortunately arrive at an airport where there is a bottleneck, which in a lot of places there are already, this is going to add another layer of frustration and delay." People who do not have to register on EES However, some travellers may not need to register their biometric data on the new system. According to the EU website, you do not need to use the system if the following apply: You are a non-EU national who holds a residence card or permit and are immediately related to a non-EU national who can travel through Europe like an EU citizen People exempt from border checks dueto certain privileges e.g. a head of state You are a non-EU national who holds a residence card and are immediately related to an EU national You hold a residence permit or long-stay visa You are a non-EU national travelling to Europe as part of an intra-corporate transfer for the purpose of research, studies, training, pupil exchange, voluntary services, educational projects, or au-pairing You are a national of Andorra, Monaco and San Marino and hold a passport issued by the Vatican City State or the Holy See You are a diplomat on a short stay (under certain conditions) You are a national of a European country using EES, such as Cyprus and Ireland Find out what's happening near you

You Don’t Mind Being Called Beautiful, Right? Donald Trump to Meloni

New-Delhi: US President Donald Trump is making headlines again, by calling Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni a “beautiful woman” while addressing the world leaders at a Gaza summit in Egypt. Trump said, “I’m not allowed to say it because usually it’s the end of your political career if you say it, she’s a beautiful young woman.” “If you use the word ‘beautiful’ in the United States about a woman, that’s the end of your political career, but I’ll take my chances,” he said turning to Meloni, who stood behind him smiling. The three-times-married 79-year-old added, “You don’t mind being called beautiful, right? Because you are.” Meloni laughed at the remark. At the summit, the 43-year-old Italian leader, was standing behind Trump along with other world leaders, including UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and Pakistan’s Shehbaz Sharif, smiled in response. Trump went on to call Meloni, an ideological ally when it comes to immigration and cultural issues, “incredible”. “And they really respect her in Italy. She’s a very successful politician,” he added. Security of Growth: Why 2025 Became a Point of No Return for Cybersecurity in Uzbekistan - UzDaily.uz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, businesses in Uzbekistan face an invisible yet formidable adversary: a large-scale wave of cybercrime fueled by digitalization and explosive economic growth. The country’s drive for innovation, state programs, influx of investments, and a young population make Uzbekistan an attractive hub for IT projects—and, consequently, a target for cyberattacks. Experts from Softline, Konstantin Melnikov and Ilkhom Begmatov, explain why cybersecurity in Uzbekistan is no longer just an “industry” concern but a matter of survival and competitiveness for any business. The old approach of “trust but verify” has long been replaced by a Zero Trust strategy. The Digital Leap and Its Flip Side: Challenges of the New Economy In Uzbekistan, digitalization outpaces cybersecurity maturity. This mismatch is a major risk that cannot be addressed through checklists—it requires a new level of management, education, investment, and cybersecurity culture. The ICT sector has grown rapidly, reaching 43.8% by 2024: new fintech startups, venture investments, 89% internet penetration, and IT service exports approaching $1.2 billion. At the same time, the country faces an exponential rise in cybercrime—over 68 times in the past five years. In 2024, cybercrimes accounted for 44% of all registered criminal cases—almost half. For businesses, this is not a distant problem: every data breach or system failure translates into direct losses, reputational damage, operational disruption, and sometimes criminal liability. An economy built on trust in digital services demands fundamentally new approaches to protection. The banking sector, government services, energy, and retail have all become prime targets for hackers and fraudsters. Sixty percent of attacks target finance and digital payments, while 16% involve social engineering via mobile services. In 2024 alone, financial losses from cybercrime exceeded $58 million, with the majority stemming not from hacking but from human-factor issues: phishing, deepfakes, fake bank calls, and credit fraud. In late August 2025, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued minimum cybersecurity requirements for financial organizations. A key innovation mandates that banks continuously monitor external information sources online to detect any attempts to misuse their brand, logos, or reputation. The guidelines explicitly list common threats: phishing sites, fake domains, fraudulent accounts on social networks, messengers, and marketplaces, even counterfeit apps in popular stores. Risks also include scam emails and SMS, trademark misuse, and dissemination of false or discrediting information. In such cases, financial organizations must notify the Central Bank and the relevant inspection authority within 24 hours and publish the information through official channels. Effectively, the regulator recommends that all financial sector players implement modern Digital Risk Protection (DRP) solutions that monitor the external digital environment in real time and respond promptly to phishing, fakes, or reputational attacks. This approach not only reduces risks for banks but also builds a new level of trust with clients, business partners, and the market. Such strategies could serve as a model for other sectors where reputation is a strategic asset. Early detection of external threats—phishing sites, fake apps, or false information posing as official sources—has become critical. Monitoring allows rapid response to incidents and often prevents their escalation, minimizing damage to businesses and clients. Modern DRP platforms, such as CyberDef, combine expert methodologies and automated threat detection technologies. They allow companies to minimize both reputational and financial risks while complying with regulatory requirements. Evolving Threats in a Rapidly Changing Technical Landscape The advent of 5G, IoT, cloud services, and widespread AI development creates hundreds of new vulnerabilities, with cybercriminals quickly adopting AI to mask attacks and generate malware. Responding with old methods is a losing strategy. Businesses that do not deploy AI-based incident detection and analysis tools, train staff, or conduct regular penetration testing are guaranteed to remain vulnerable. The Cybersecurity Market: Immense Potential Amid Tough Barriers Uzbekistan’s cybersecurity market is among the fastest-growing in the world, expanding 25–30% annually (compared to 9–13% globally) and potentially tripling to $1–1.2 billion by 2027. This growth brings opportunities for both international and local players, startups, and partnerships. Challenges remain: the country has fewer than 1,000 certified experts, corporate solutions require significant investment, and frameworks for cooperation between government, business, and industry associations are still developing. Raising digital literacy is a key priority. Seventy percent of SMEs acknowledge that they do not implement modern cybersecurity systems due to cost and complexity—but these SMEs are the easiest targets. Simple cloud services, MSSP (Security as a Service), staff training, and supported package solutions are not luxuries—they are must-haves for any company aiming to grow safely. The state is accelerating regulation: new cybersecurity laws, stricter liability for incidents, mandatory data localization, SOC centers, and startup support are all being introduced. Developing a national strategy, interagency councils, and transparent staffing programs is still ongoing. Within the next 2–3 years, 100% of state customers will require compliance with new laws, including mandatory incident compensation and anti-fraud systems. The financial sector, retail, transport, and public services will face the strictest requirements. Five Strategies for Business Survival and Growth in the Digital Era Invest in people. Building human capital is paramount. Companies that implement cybersecurity literacy programs and train both IT staff and frontline employees can minimize vulnerability to human-factor risks. Employees are the first line of defense, not the weakest link. Adopt cloud and MSSP solutions. SMEs often cannot maintain robust in-house cybersecurity infrastructure. Managed and cloud-based services provide cost-effective, scalable protection, allowing businesses to focus on growth. Implement AI and automation. Modern SOC, XDR, and SIEM solutions with AI capabilities analyze vast amounts of data in real time, detect anomalies, and block attacks before damage occurs. This is no longer futuristic—it’s essential for survival. Build a Zero Trust strategy. The “trust but verify” approach is outdated. Zero Trust architecture assumes no implicit trust—every device and user is verified, with micro-segmentation and continuous monitoring, complicating attacks and improving transparency. Engage in industry alliances. Businesses cannot face threats alone. Professional communities and alliances enable information sharing, collaborative projects, and dialogue with regulators, fostering truly effective and adaptive cybersecurity strategies. Uzbekistan has already become an IT and investment magnet. Only those prioritizing security will protect their business and lead Central Asia’s new digital future. Looking Ahead: Business-State Synergy By 2028, companies that restructure their processes and culture today will become engines of growth and trust. With each incident potentially threatening operations, only a comprehensive, long-term, and collaborative approach can turn cybersecurity from a cost center into a competitive advantage. Uzbekistan has entered a new stage of development: businesses must keep pace with challenges, focusing on cybersecurity, while the country has a unique opportunity to develop digital services and protection in tandem, creating an environment where innovation drives safe and confident growth. It is time to invest not just in hardware, but in minds, processes, and synergy. Verify, don’t just trust—and your business in Uzbekistan will not just survive but set an example for the region.
