Prince Andrew 'eviction': William and Kate 'want him out before bonfire night'

Prince William and Princess Kate have a date in mind they want Prince Andrew out of Royal Lodge before they move into their new “forever home” nearby, royal insiders have claimed. The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be preparing to move into Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park before Bonfire Night - but William reportedly wants his disgraced uncle gone from his 30-room mansion by the time they arrive. Andrew's public downfall began with his long-standing ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein . Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's accusers, alleged she was trafficked by him to have sex with Andrew when she was 17 - claims Andrew has always strenuously denied. Last week, he released a statement agreeing to give up all of his royal titles, including the Duke of York, because of the “continued accusations” about him. A source has now told how William and Kate want him removed from Royal Lodge before they move in nearby. “Catherine shudders at the thought of living so close to Royal Lodge while Prince Andrew is still in it,” the source said. William wants him gone before they start to move in next week. It’s not about what Andrew doesn’t want to do anymore. It’s about what he’s going to be told to do.” Negotiations over Andrew’s future at Royal Lodge are taking place daily, amid growing public anger over revelations that he pays only a “peppercorn rent” for the sprawling property. Despite holding a “cast iron” lease that prevents eviction, Palace insiders believe he will ultimately have to move out because of the scale of the backlash. William and Kate are also said to be using the half-term break to prepare their children - George, 12, Charlotte, ten, and Louis, seven - for the relocation. The Waleses had originally hoped to move to Royal Lodge itself, but were forced to settle for Adelaide Cottage in 2022 after Andrew refused to leave, MailOnline reports. “Them going into Adelaide Cottage was never the plan,” one well-connected source said. “But they were forced to because Prince Andrew wouldn’t shift.” Earlier this year, the family set their sights on Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom Georgian mansion just over a mile from Royal Lodge. They are understood to see it as the perfect setting to raise their children in a more rural, hands-on environment. Both Royal Lodge and Forest Lodge sit in secluded parts of Windsor Great Park, surrounded by fields and woodland where Andrew is frequently seen horse-riding. This week, a separate source told how Prince Andrew could be offered free use of a lavish palace as part of a plan to quietly leave Royal Lodge. Sources say Abu Dhabi's ruler, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has extended an extraordinary offer - free use of one of his royal palaces, a vast waterfront estate surrounded by palm trees and sand dunes.

Shivakumar Meets Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Mohandas Pai Amid Bengaluru Potholes Row

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday hosted a dinner meeting in Bengaluru with industry leaders Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and TV Mohandas Pai. The meeting came days after both had publicly criticised the city’s crumbling infrastructure. Former Infosys Chief Financial Officer TV Mohandas Pai has heaped praise on Shivakumar after a meeting with him. Pai commended Shivakumar for what he described as a transformative step in urban governance, the creation of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), an initiative aimed at revamping the administrative framework of India’s tech capital. “The Deputy Chief Minister’s approach to meeting citizens, understanding their issues, and finding solutions reflects true political leadership,” Pai wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “You have completed the largest urban reform for any Indian city in decades by creating GBA! We look to the future with hope,” he added, tagging fellow leaders Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and R.K. Misra among others. After the meeting Biocon chief Kiran Majumdar Shaw took to X. She said, “We had a very constructive meeting with Deputy CM ⁦DK Shivakumar to agree to an action plan to fix key infra bottlenecks in roads, ORR, PRR drainage traffic n garbage,” reads her post. The GBA, introduced by Shivakumar, seeks to decentralise city management and streamline civic services across the growing Bengaluru metropolitan area. The reform aims to strengthen coordination among various civic agencies, enhance accountability, and accelerate infrastructure projects that have long suffered from bureaucratic delays. The meeting between Shivakumar, Pai, and Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw came amid rising public concern over Bengaluru’s deteriorating infrastructure. Both corporate leaders had earlier voiced frustration about poor civic conditions and urged the government to take corrective measures. According to officials, the government assured the technocrats that steps are being taken to address key challenges such as potholes, delayed development works, and inefficient coordination among municipal agencies. This dialogue marks a possible thaw after weeks of tension between the corporate community and the administration. As per reports, business leaders expressed willingness to support the government’s initiatives, provided visible improvements are made on the ground.

Christine McGuinness wanted to quit fame over effects on kids

Christine McGuinness has had a tumultuous few years, navigating life in the spotlight as a mum-of-three and going through a high-profile divorce from husband of 11 years , TV favourite Paddy, in 2024. But now, the former model reveals she’s finally in a good place – though it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. “I’m feeling really good now. This year has been difficult as I’ve just come off my meds. I’ve been on ADHD meds for the past year – I literally begged my doctor for help, because I just couldn’t cope with things,” admits a candid Christine, 37, when we catch up with her on the Pride of Britain red carpet . “Between the divorce, all of the attention around my personal life and dating – it was quite a lot.” Christine, who was diagnosed with autism and ADHD in 2021 , has been admirably open about her journey with neurodivergence – something she says she wants to talk more about to help others. Her and Paddy’s three children – twins Leo and Penelope, both 12, and Felicity, nine – are also on the autism spectrum. Paddy and Christine announced their split in June 2022, but remained living together for the sake of their children , who Christine has said thrive on routine and stability. Their unusual set-up has brought a wave of attention to the family’s personal lives, something that Christine has found tough to deal with. “I’m constantly thinking about my children and how all of this [fame] is going to affect them. I’ve had to really think about if I’m in the right industry and if I can continue,” she says. “I love being in this industry and doing what I do, but when I think about my children and how much the public attention is going to affect their lives, I have sometimes wondered if it’s the right thing.” But Christine says she has ultimately decided to continue following her heart and working in show business. “I’ll be worried, and then the kids will see me all dressed up and say, ‘Mummy are you going to an awards show?’ and I think, ‘Bless them. "They’re so innocent and happy, they’re actually unaware of so much stuff.’ I think I just get myself into a panic and I over-worry, but actually they don’t mind,” she adds, with a smile. It’s clear that being a mum is Christine’s favourite job , and she can’t help but gush over her trio during our chat. “I always tell them that I just want them to be themselves and not copy anyone else. They’re growing into really mature, gorgeous little children.” Going through such a difficult time over recent years has changed things in her personal life, too, she says. “I’m more careful who I speak to and who I relax in front of now. I’d say my walls are always up a little bit.“ One person she can always count on is her close friend, presenter Will Njobvu, who joins her on the red carpet during our chat. Days earlier, the pair filmed an episode of Will’s Tea Time podcast together, during which Christine hinted that she could be set to appear on this year’s I’m A Celebrity. When we probe the subject of the jungle, a giggling Christine attempts to remain coy, responding, “I don’t know why people think that… I’m… not saying anything.” However, pal Will isn’t quite so subtle, as he jokes that things will get “out of hand” before shouting “I’m A Celeb” when we ask what else Christine has coming up. “Oh God!” says Christine, bursting into laughter. “I’m gonna get in trouble,” continues Will, cheekily. “You know how it goes, people have meetings with producers, yada yada yada. I don’t want to spill the tea.” If she is heading down under, it certainly seems Christine would be out of her comfort zone. “I’m petrified of spiders, everything. Heights I’m terrible with, there’s no way I would jump off anything. And I’m not eating cockroaches, none of that,” she admits. “I wouldn’t bring very much, I’d probably be in the hotel after a day!” she laughs. Pausing for a breath, she continues, “I always want to challenge myself and push myself, I just know there are a lot of issues I would struggle with. “I’ve done things in the past like Pilgrimage and Celebrity Hunted . Those kind of shows where I have a lot of time on my own to just think have helped me more than anything ever.” She adds thoughtfully, “The time where you are away from home and you think about what you want from life and your future is helpful for me, because I don’t think I will ever give myself that time, unless I’m away somewhere. So I know it would benefit me mentally in a positive way, I’m not sure about physically, though!” Follow Mirror Celebs on Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .

Inside Corrie star Katie McGlynn's new romance with EastEnders legend

Inside Corrie star Katie McGlynn's new romance with EastEnders legend

Former Corrie star Katie McGlynn ruffled feathers last week after she was snapped smooching EastEnders actor Max Bowden . Their steamy clinch came just weeks after Katie’s split from TOWIE hunk Ricky Rayment and is said to have dealt a huge blow to the 35-year-old. But a source close to the actors tells OK! that their PDA wasn’t a one-off and their blossoming romance is very much the real deal. “This is a genuine relationship. It’s not just for fun, or for the cameras – no matter what some might think,” said our source. “Katie and Max are totally at ease with each other and are actually very well-suited.” Katie and Max are currently touring the country in the comedy drama Murder At Midnight and have clearly formed a strong bond off-stage. They were snapped sharing a clandestine kiss following a night out in Malvern, Worcestershire, where they were recently performing, at local Wetherspoon ’s pub The Foley Arms. Katie, 32, who played Corrie ’s Sinead Tinker for almost seven years , split from TOWIE star Ricky in July, after a two-year romance, while Max is no stranger to dating his co-stars. The 30-year-old has previously been linked to his former EastEnders castmates Shona McGarty and Danielle Harold , while just last month he split from Here We Go actress Tori Allen-Martin – his co-star in another theatre production, Midnight Cowboy – after six months. And while both Katie and Max are now free agents, sources close to Ricky have said he felt blindsided by the news that his ex and Max are an item. “Ricky still cares about Katie and wants her to be happy, but of course, seeing the pictures of her kissing Max were a blow to him,” a source claimed. “Nobody would like seeing their ex looking so loved-up so soon after splitting up, so it’s not been easy for him, but there is no bad blood between them. He wishes her the best, he would just rather not have seen those snaps while things are still pretty raw for him.” Last week a source confirmed to OK! that Katie’s romance bombshell has upset Ricky, saying, “I don’t think either of their exes are very happy about this. It’s never easy to see your ex move on, but their feelings are genuine and they can’t switch them off. “They’re just genuinely a good match. They come from the same world , so they understand each other. It helps that they were friends before getting together, so they feel the relationship has a solid basis. They get on so well and it’s just working.” Following the release of the snaps , a separate source told a newspaper it’s not exactly a huge surprise the pair fell for one another while touring in their new show, which is set to play at venues around the country until next April. “Max and Katie have been around each other for years,” the source claimed. “They were in the soap world for so long where everyone knows each other. “They’ve got loads in common and both have found themselves single at the same time as doing the tour. They get on well and have been spending time together – it’s clear they’ve got chemistry. Who knows what the future holds?” Despite her burgeoning romance with Max, who first joined EastEnders as troubled Ben Mitchell in 2019, Katie’s split from Ricky came as a shock to fans, as the pair had previously seemed so smitten. The couple even sparked engagement rumours after Katie was seen with a diamond ring on her finger on Valentine’s Day, while last year the lovebirds – who met on a cruise ship in 2023 – opened up to OK ! magazine about their whirlwind relationship. Reminiscing about the first time he set eyes on Katie, Ricky said, “I saw Katie on board and thought, ‘Wow’.” But Katie – who stars in the new series of Celebrity MasterChef next month – confessed she initially had doubts she and Ricky would have anything in common. “I thought he was very good-looking, but to be honest I did judge him a bit prematurely,” she admitted. “I recognised his face and just assumed he wasn’t going to be my type of person – you know, Jack the lad from Essex – and I took it for granted we wouldn’t get on. I’m happy to say I got that one wrong!” In May this year, the couple still appeared to be head-over-heels as Katie posted a video of herself and Ricky looking loved-up on a sun-soaked holiday, along with the caption, “Find someone that matches your weirdness.” But in July, news emerged that the pair had called it a day after they deleted all traces of one another from their social media. A source said at the time, “Katie and Ricky have ended their romance. They’re still friends and want to remain civil, but in terms of a romantic relationship, it’s definitely over.” With Katie and Max’s play running for another five months, their new relationship certainly has time to blossom. Our source add ed , “They’re very happy and just seeing where it goes.” Follow Mirror Celebs on Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .

Vogue Williams has been in the 'deepest, darkest hole' over mental health struggle

Vogue Williams has been in the "deepest, darkest hole" after identifying what was having a negative impact on her mental health . The popular podcaster celebrated her 40th birthday earlier this month, with her husband, Spencer Matthews , surprising her with a memorable party. Following the celebration, the Irish mum-of-three shared on Instagram : "You'll be glad to hear I'm finished celebrating the never-ending 40th. An epic night thrown by @spencermatthews for our London pals and a couple of Irish thrown in." However, despite the joyous occasion, she spoke of feeling low in the days that followed. During a conversation with Joanne McNally on their My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Vogue said: "I actually haven't been happy at all because of my birthday party. "I've been in the deepest, darkest hole because I'm not able to drink and I won't have it anymore. Everyone's making me drink all the time. It's not good for my mental health. "There's been a lot of, a lot of tears. I decided then on Sunday, I was like, that's it. And if anyone says to me, 'go on, have a drink,' I'll say, 'Do you know what? No, because it's really bad for my mental health.' "I'm pulling out the mental health card because it's true." In response, comedian Joanne advised: "Yeah, go full Gen Z on it. I agree, develop an allergy, go hard." Vogue concluded: "That's absolutely it. I'm allergic to it and it's bad for my mental health. You can't really argue with any of that." Vogue celebrated turning 40 by soaking up the Turkish sunshine alongside Spencer and their little ones Theodore, Gigi and Otto. Spencer shared a collection of holiday photos on social media, penning a heartfelt tribute to his missus: "HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY to my incredibly beautiful, funny, awesome, cool, talented, babe of a wife. "People like you don't come around often in life... I admire you in so many ways and you're a remarkable mama to our children. "Personally, I love it when people tell me I'm punching, not only because that's obviously the goal, but because it reminds me of how lucky I am to have you in my life because it's true. "You're a superstar and I LOVE YOU." Spencer and Vogue initially crossed paths on The Jump back in 2017 before walking down the aisle just a year later. The pair now divide their time between London and Howth, and offering a peek into their domestic life, Spencer recently disclosed on his Untapped YouTube channel that Vogue isn't keen on his habit of leaving belongings scattered about their home. He explained: "Whenever I have anything lying around the house, and I mean anything at all, it could be a package that I've not even seen or opened yet or had anything to do with, right? "It's by the door, I will get an earful from my wife saying, 'What is this? Move it. Make sure that it's not around. It's cluttering the house.'"

Alan Titchmarsh issues apology for cheeky swipe at Gardeners' World star after admission

Choosing which plants to have in your garden is all a matter of personal taste, says Alan Titchmarsh , though he couldn’t resist a light-hearted dig at fellow Gardeners’ World expert Joe Swift when discussing garden colour schemes. Writing for Scribehound , Alan jokes that Joe’s dislike of pink flowers probably dates back to “being frightened by pink and green floral wallpaper in the smallest room of someone else’s house” and suggests that the Newcastle-born designer’s anti-pink prejudice could be solved with “a session in the psychiatrist’s chair", before adding "Sorry Joe; only kidding." But Alan admits he’s “not immune to current fads and fancies” himself. He says he would always choose a shrub rose rather than a hybrid tea rose when selecting roses for his own garden. Listing celebrated garden designers of the past, such as Vita Sackville-West with her renowned balance of green, silver and white plants in the “White Garden” at Sissinghurst , Alan says there’s no reason to rule any one colour out — or in. Such rules are “whims, fancies, prejudices,” he says, “all often based on nothing more than a need to impress one’s fellow gardeners.” Alan says he’s completely nonplussed by garden designers who admit they are colourblind. “It leaves me feeling as bewildered as Strictly champion Chris McCausland,” he says. “He told me that when he was almost blind he got down to the last 30 out of a group of 2,000 hopefuls who applied to join MI5. The fact that he might have become the UK’s first blind spy was,” Alan adds, “great source material for a comedian.” For Alan, a sense of fun is essential in a garden. “When walking down a street, I encounter a front garden whose badly-placed lumps of granite are billowing with clouds of aubrieta and arabis, snow-in-summer and mossy saxifrages, I cannot help but smile at their joyful exuberance.” Any garden that gives its owner pleasure is a success, he says, whether it’s a “tasteful” one-colour creation in the style of Sackville-West or a playful riot of colour. He adds, though, that there are some garden sins he cannot forgive — pampas grass has no redeeming features. And for Alan, the greatest garden sin of all is having no garden at all. “A sea of concrete that requires nothing more than a stiff yard broom should make your heart sink more than a riot of supposedly unfashionable colour,” he says.

Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal Makes Baklava The Talk Of Dubai — Here’s How You Can Make It At Home

When Tanya Mittal walked into the Bigg Boss 19 house, she brought more than glamour and poise — she brought personality. Known for her sharp wit, unapologetic charm, and effortless confidence, Tanya has a knack for stealing the spotlight. But even by reality show standards, her revelation about flying to Dubai just to eat baklava managed to outshine even the most dramatic eviction episode. What started as a casual conversation quickly became a headline-grabbing moment — part indulgence, part spontaneity, and entirely Tanya. It wasn’t just about the dessert. It was about the audacity of it — the kind of story that makes you stop mid-scroll and think, “Did she really do that?” And in true Tanya Mittal fashion, she really did. A Sweet Confession That Took Everyone By Surprise In one of the most replayed moments of the season, Tanya shared the story that made her both a talking point and a trending hashtag. She said, “From Gwalior, I visit Morena for work. Once I felt like having sweets, Baklava, and I said, ‘Chalo Dubai.’ So from Morena, we took the car to Delhi, booked a flight to Dubai, had Baklava, and within an hour, we flew back.” That’s not your usual “sweet tooth” story — it’s a full-blown dessert pilgrimage. And naturally, the internet went wild. Some were amused, others impressed, and a few sceptical. Tanya, however, took it all in stride, later acknowledging how her playful confession had sparked endless conversations. Baklava 101: A Bite of History (and Honey) Before you scoff at the idea of boarding a flight for dessert, it helps to understand what makes baklava special. Baklava is a delicate Middle Eastern pastry layered with nuts and syrup, tracing its origins to the Ottoman Empire. Each flaky layer of phyllo dough (a paper-thin pastry) is brushed with butter, sprinkled with nuts — usually pistachios or walnuts — and baked to golden perfection before being soaked in honey or sugar syrup. Every bite offers a glorious contrast of textures: crisp pastry, sticky syrup, and nutty richness. Traditionally, it’s cut into diamond-shaped pieces and served during celebrations or festivals. Fun Fact: There are over 15 known regional variations of baklava. Turkish baklava often uses pistachios, Greek versions feature walnuts and cinnamon, and Lebanese baklava uses rosewater for a floral note. Even the name has a story — it’s said to come from the Mongolian word “bayla”, meaning “to tie up,” a nod to its many layers folded together like secrets in a pastry. Tanya’s Dubai-Inspired Baklava — Made Easy At Home Tanya may have flown across continents for her fix, but you can recreate that luxury right in your kitchen. Here’s a simple, tried-and-tested recipe inspired by her famous baklava moment. Ingredients: 1 pack of phyllo pastry (about 20 sheets) 1 cup melted butter 2 cups mixed nuts (pistachios, walnuts, almonds – roughly chopped) 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp cardamom powder ½ tsp saffron strands (optional but divine) 1 cup sugar ¾ cup water ½ cup honey 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp rosewater Step 1: Layer It Like You Mean It Preheat your oven to 180°C. Generously butter a baking tray. Place a sheet of phyllo pastry, brush it with butter, and repeat until you’ve stacked around ten buttery sheets. Think of it as building a buttery book of flavour. Step 2: Add The Nutty Middle Mix your chopped nuts with cinnamon and cardamom. Spread half the mixture over the layered pastry. Add another ten sheets of phyllo, brushing each with butter. Before baking, slice the pastry into diamonds or squares — this helps the syrup soak in later. Step 3: Bake Until Golden Bliss Bake for 40–45 minutes until crisp and golden. If your kitchen starts smelling like a Middle Eastern market, you’re doing it right. Step 4: The Sweet Syrup Symphony While your baklava bakes, simmer sugar, water, honey, lemon juice, and saffron in a pan for about 10 minutes until slightly thick. Stir in rosewater at the end. When the baklava is hot from the oven, pour the warm syrup over it — you’ll hear a gentle crackle as it soaks in. Step 5: Patience, Then Perfection Let the baklava cool for at least two hours. This waiting time is crucial — it allows every layer to absorb the syrup properly. Once ready, garnish with crushed pistachios or dried rose petals. Serve it with mint tea or strong black coffee for a truly royal experience.

After Satish Shah’s Demise, His Wife Madhu Shah Is Battling This Health Condition. Know What It Is

On October 25, 2025, Satish Shah, the veteran actor passed away at the age of 74, reportedly due to kidney failure. As the entertainment world continues to mourn this loss, another shocking detail has come to surface. His wife, Madhu Shah, is battling Alzheimer’s disease. Satish Shah’s wife Madhu Shah battling a serious health condition Satish Shah’s long-standing friend and fellow actor Sachin Pilgaonkar shared his love for his friend and all about Satish’s final words in a conversation with a media house and spoke about a heartbreaking statement, revealing that even Madhu isn’t doing well and has Alzheimer’s. Sachin also mentioned that Satush got a kidney transplanted, and was better taking care of himself to extend his life and look after Madhu. In the interview, Sachin also mentioned that Satish was also on dialysis and underwent a bypass surgery, which was successful. What is Alzheimer’s disease? It is a progressive brain disorder that gradually affects and eventually impairs memory, reasoning and the patient’s ability to perform daily tasks on their own. It is the most common cause of dementia and accounts for about 60-80% of all dementia cases that take place worldwide (as per reports from Alzheimer's Organisation). The disease is usually believed to affect people over 65 and worsens overtime, impacting the patients as well as their families or loved ones. What causes Alzheimer’s disease? It is caused by an abnormal buildup of two proteins in the brain, namely amyloid and tau. These newly formed proteins interfere with how the brain cells normally work and how these neurons communicate. Over a course of time, this phenomenon leads to the formation of plaques and tangles, which eventually block nerve signals and cause healthy brain cells to die. The earliest damage typically occurs in the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for learning and memory building. Scientists also believe that these protein changes can begin years (up to even a decade), before the symptoms start to appear and this is what makes early detection particularly challenging. While there is no known cure for Alzheimer’s, treatment and therapies have proven beneficial in helping to slow down progression and manage symptoms to improve the quality of life.
