Watch Channing Tatum Adorably Coach Girlfriend Inka Williams to Pull Off a “Dirty Dancing” Lift on Fiji Vacation

Channing Tatum and Inka Williams are having the time of their lives. On Sunday, Nov. 16, Williams, 26, posted an Instagram carousel giving a few glimpses into her and Tatum’s vacation to Fiji, including a video of the couple having fun on the beach. The footage shows Williams gearing up to jump into her boyfriend’s arms just like the Dirty Dancing “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” dance. The first time she gets hoisted into the air, she shouts, “I’m scared," and Tatum, 45, quickly puts her down. She gives it another try but instantly gives up and puts her feet back on the ground as the Magic Mike actor starts to laugh. For their third attempt, she tells him she isn’t sure if she wants to run “downhill” to him, and he offers to swap places and tells her, “You gotta jump then.” He then reassures her, while putting his hands together in prayer motion, “I promise you with all my heart ... ” but then he cuts himself off, to tell her he’ll lift her up so she can see what is supposed to happen. She replies, “I trust you, you’re a dancer. But it’s hard.” “I know mentally, it’s just like, ‘I have to commit.’ You gotta trust I got you,” Tatum says, before she successfully jumps into his arms and screams before they both start laughing, forcing Tatum to place her safely on the ground. The clip concludes with a couple more moments of the couple successfully pulling off the famous dance move. She captioned her post: “Postcards from Fiji earlier this year 🌺 clearing out my camera roll and found some gems I never posted.” Tatum replied to carousel, saying, “😂😂😂😂😂😂,” before adding another flirty comment, “Also you’re hot.” Along with her adorable video, Williams also shared Polaroid photos, as well as pictures of the couple enjoying the Fiji beaches and views. The model later added another video of their attempts to her Instagram Stories, which included the actor and Williams figuring out the perfect placement — and each attempt was more successful than the last. “🤣🤣🤣 this was so fun. Im sad this part of the video I just posted in my dump cropped this out... i was finally almost getting it...😅," she wrote on top of the clip. The couple were first romantically linked in February, when they they stepped out at a pre-Oscars party. "They met through friends. She's great," a source told PEOPLE in March. "She has her own life. She's young, but seems older." Williams and Tatum made their relationship Instagram official in April, when she shared a collage of photos to her Instagram Stories to celebrate Tatum's 45th birthday. Five months later, they made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle in Los Angeles. The relationship began months after Tatum split from ex-fiancée Zoë Kravitz in October 2024 after three years together. The actor and his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, 44, separated back in 2018 and finalized their divorce in September 2024.

Danny Masterson Blames Lawyer for Rape Conviction Weeks After Wife Files to Change Their Daughter's Last Name

Danny Masterson is blaming his trial lawyer for his rape conviction. Masterson, the former star of That '70s Show, is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence after being found guilty of sexually assaulting two women in the early 2000s. Masterson, 49, was charged with forcibly raping three women in 2020 in separate incidents between 2001 and 2003. His first trial ended in a mistrial and he was later convicted of two of those rapes in 2023 during a second trial. The habeas petition, which seeks to overturn his conviction, was filed on Monday, Nov. 17. It comes just weeks after his ex-wife Bijou Phillips, 45, asked a court to remove Masterson from their daughter's name. Phillips filed on Friday, Oct. 24, to change her 11-year-old daughter's name from Fianna Masterson to Fianna Phillips. The filing is awaiting the approval of a judge, PEOPLE previously reported. “The unfairness of the second Masterson trial was the result of prosecutorial misconduct, judicial bias, and the failure of defense counsel to present exculpatory evidence,” Masterson's attorney Eric Multhaup said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “The habeas corpus petition is accompanied by 65 exhibits that document the evidence of innocence that could have been presented, but was not. The jury heard only half the story — the prosecution’s side. Danny deserves a new trial where the jury can hear his side as well.” According to the petition, Masterson's new attorneys —Multhaup and Clifford Gardner — blamed his trial attorney Philip Cohen, who had "a longstanding aversion to presenting affirmative defense evidence in the cases he tried," for the conviction, according to FOX News. The lawyers said Cohen didn't call key witnesses that could have exonerated him and failed to bring forth potential evidence, per the Associated Press. Cohen, the petition alleged, talked to just two of 20 possible witnesses recommended by his co-counsel, per the outlet. There were also individuals who would have testified that one of the victim’s initially shared a positive story about their sexual relationship with Masterson and that it was “the best sex [she] ever had,” KTLA reported, citing the petition. “Among the available witnesses were individuals who would have testified that the complaining witnesses described their encounters with Masterson as positive and consensual in the days and weeks after they occurred … another complaining witness discussed her encounter with a close friend, describing it in a lighthearted and positive manner,” the petition alleged, per the outlet. “Other guests in Masterson’s home on one evening in question heard what they believed to be enthusiastic, consensual sexual activity.” According to the filing, Masterson “implored [Cohen] to present at least a minimal modicum of defense evidence, but counsel refused,” per Variety. The petition also alleged that Cohen should have pushed back on the prosecution’s focus on the Church of Scientology, saying that because Masterson, a known Scientologist, allegedly met the woman through the Church, the "narrative became a centerpiece of closing arguments." PEOPLE has reached out to Cohen for comment but did not immediately hear back. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office declined to comment about the petition. After John Beam’s killing, Alameda County DA will seek ‘mandatory’ jail or prison for all gun offenses

OAKLAND — If the Alameda County District Attorney gets her way, first time gun possession offenders will go to jail. A new policy enacted by DA Ursula Jones Dickson will require prosecutors to seek “mandatory minimum” sentences of jail or prison for all gun charges, from first-time arrestees charged with a misdemeanor to repeat felons caught with a gun. Prosecutors were notified of the policy change on Monday, an office spokesman said. At a news conference Monday, Jones Dickson announced the policy change in the wake of last week’s slaying of Laney College football Coach John Beam, whose suspected killer went onto the Oakland campus on Thursday with a gun he legally owned and allegedly shot Beam in the head. Beam, who was Laney’s athletics director, was pronounced dead Friday morning. “There must be more accountability,” Jones Dickson said in a written statement. “Our schools, students and teachers need to thrive in a safe gun-free environment. I believe that this will be an important step in that direction to make Oakland and Alameda County safer.” The new policy is a stark shift from Jones Dickson’s predecessor, Pamela Price, who in 2023 circulated a memo instructing her prosecutors to use probation terms as the “presumptive offer” in all cases where the defendant was legally eligible for them, and to seek “low end” sentences when probation wasn’t on the table. Price, recalled in 2024 and replaced by county supervisors with Jones Dickson, used that policy as part of broader efforts to reduce incarceration and implement progressive justice reform. Jones Dickson said that moving forward, her office will week 90-day jail sentence for misdemeanor gun cases, 180-day sentences for felony possession charges, and 16 months in prison for people with felony convictions who are caught with guns. She vowed to seek “further mandatory jail time” for people caught with unregistered guns, commonly known as “ghost guns.” Prosecutors have significant influence over a defendant’s sentence, with one obvious caveat: any outcome they seek must first be approved by a judge. The Alameda County Public Defender’s Office didn’t immediately issue a response to the new policy.

UN Security Council adopts US resolution on Trump's Gaza plan

NYT News ServiceThe UN Security Council vote on President Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza at the UN headquarters (Photo by Dave Sanders/The New York Times) The UN Security Council on Monday voted to adopt a U.S.-drafted resolution endorsing President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza and authorizing an international stabilization force for the Palestinian enclave. Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas agreed last month to the first phase of Trump's 20-point plan for Gaza - a ceasefire in their two-year war and a hostage-release deal - but the UN resolution is seen as vital to legitimizing a transitional governance body and reassuring countries that are considering sending troops to Gaza. The text of the resolution says member states can take part in the Trump-chaired Board of Peace envisioned as a transitional authority that would oversee reconstruction and economic recovery of Gaza. It also authorizes the international stabilization force, which would ensure a process of demilitarizing Gaza, including by decommissioning weapons and destroying military infrastructure.Hamas, in a statement, reiterated that it will not disarm and argued that its fight against Israel is legitimate resistance, potentially pitting the militant group against the international force authorized by the resolution."The resolution imposes an international guardianship mechanism on the Gaza Strip, which our people and their factions reject," Hamas said in its statement, issued after the adoption of the resolution.Mike Waltz, the U.S. ambassador to the UN, said the resolution, which includes Trump's 20-point plan as an annex, "charts a possible pathway for Palestinian self-determination ... where rockets will give way to olive branches and there is a chance to agree on a political horizon."Live Events"It dismantles Hamas' grip, it ensures Gaza rises free from terror's shadow, prosperous and secure," Waltz told the council ahead of the vote.Russia, which holds a veto on the Security Council, earlier signaled potential opposition to the resolution but abstained from the vote, allowing the resolution to pass. The UN ambassadors of Russia and China, which also abstained, complained that the resolution does not give the UN a clear role in the future of Gaza."In essence, the council is giving its blessing to a U.S. initiative on the basis of Washington's promises, giving complete control over the Gaza Strip to the Board of Peace and the ISF (international stabilization force), the modalities of which we know nothing about so far," Russian ambassador Vasily Nebenzya told the council following the vote. The Palestinian Authority issued a statement welcoming the resolution, and said it is ready to take part in its implementation. Diplomats said the authority's endorsement of the resolution last week was key to preventing a Russian veto.Trump celebrated the vote as "a moment of true Historic proportion" in a social media post. "The members of the Board, and many more exciting announcements, will be made in the coming weeks," Trump wrote.'PATHWAY' TO STATEHOODThe resolution has proven controversial in Israel because it references a future possibility of statehood for the Palestinians. The resolution's text says that "conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood" once the Palestinian Authority has carried out a reform program and Gaza's redevelopment has advanced."The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous coexistence," it says.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, under pressure from right-wing members of his government, said on Sunday that Israel remained opposed to a Palestinian state and pledged to demilitarize Gaza "the easy way or the hard way."Add as a Reliable and Trusted News Source Add Now! Cork man at centre of murder probe was 'much-valued' worker at Northside Community Enterprises

A man arrested on Sunday morning was still being questioned on Monday evening, as Mr O’Connell’s work colleagues at Northside Community Enterprises in Farranferris tried to come to terms with his death. The 38-year-old had been working there for a number of months and is understood to have been well-liked. A spokeswoman for his employers said: “We are deeply saddened by the news of Mark's passing. Mark was a much-valued and respected employee of Northside Community Enterprises. We send our sincere condolences to Mark’s family and to everyone coming to terms with this dreadful news." A post mortem examination was conducted on Mr O’Connell’s remains on Sunday evening by assistant State pathologist, Dr Margaret Bolster. Although gardaí say they are not releasing the results of the autopsy for “operational reasons”, sources have confirmed that the results have led to the launch of a murder investigation. A number of children were believed to be inside the house at the time of the incident. The injured man was rushed to hospital by ambulance following a call to the emergency services. Neighbours were unaware of the incident until they awoke later on Sunday morning to hear of the tragedy and to see gardaí on the scene. Those who had earlier witnessed the ambulance had assumed it was responding to an emergency sick call. The 55-year-old man in custody on Monday evening was being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, under which he can be questioned for up to 24 hours before being released or charged. It is understood he availed of breaks in questioning. He was being questioned at Gurranabraher garda station. Mr O’Connell went to the house in the early hours of Sunday morning, and gardaí are working to establish the lead-up to his death. It is understood that the two men were known to each other. Neither of the men lived at the house in Hollyville. A family liaison officer has been appointed to support Mr O’Connell’s family and keep them updated of any developments in the probe. A detailed forensic and technical examination of the scene was carried out on Sunday while door-to-door enquiries were also conducted in the area. CCTV footage has also been harvested in the locality. No funeral arrangements have yet been published for Mr O’Connell. Gardai made a renewed appeal for witnesses on Monday and were looking in particular for any camera footage from the area to help them build a picture of the circumstances surrounding Mr O’Connell’s death. “Anyone with available camera footage, including dashcam recordings, from those who were in the vicinity of Hollyville, Hollyhill, Cork City, between 3.30am and 4.30am on Sunday morning, 16th November 2025, is asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gurranabraher Garda Station on (021) 4946200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station,” said a spokesman.

NFL Legend Bernie Kosar Shares Update Video After Undergoing Liver Transplant in Wake of Canceled Surgery, Internal Bleeding

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar has kept fans in the loop leading up to his liver transplant — and he just shared his first post-op video. The 61-year-old NFL alum, who revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and liver failure last summer, got the surgery in the early morning of Monday, Nov. 17. Hours later, he posted a clip from his hospital bed was on X. “Hey, I’m out,” he said in the 11-second clip, “and I’m feeling good.” Kosar added that he’s feeling “ready to enjoy the rest of the week, and the rest of our lives,” before signing off with his catchphrase: “You matter.” The postoperative footage is the latest of several videos the Youngstown, Ohio native has shared as his health has declined due to several factors in recent months. The NFL alum “has been battling advanced liver cirrhosis, early-stage Parkinson’s disease, and now a sudden and dangerous series of internal-bleeding complications,” according to a GoFundMe created to assist with his medical costs. Kosar was previously set to undergo a liver transplant, but things took a “frightening turn” after doctors learned that the original donated liver was infected, according to the GoFundMe. “Since then,” the fundraiser reads, he “has undergone multiple ‘aggressive procedures’ to stop internal bleeding." A second liver transplant was then scheduled for 5 a.m. on Nov. 17. Kosar kept fans updated until the last moment, sharing a clip of himself at the hospital just before heading into surgery. “Well, it may not be Victory Monday on the football field, but here we are at 4:23 in the morning, University Hospital, it’s absolutely Victory Monday for me,” said the NFL alum. “So looking forward to literally heading on down right now to get that liver transplant.” Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. "And, you know, as you get ready for something monumental and transformative like this in your life you can’t help but be a little reflective, and as I go down here today I think about all the awesome, awesome support,” added Kosar, "and fans out there and my amazing children and family." On the previous day, the Browns legend revealed that his liver transplant was on the books in an X update. Celebrating alongside two hospital employees, Kosar said, “We just got the good call!” "Good news is in!!! We are set for 5 AM,” he added in the caption. “Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, and support — it truly means the world to me. U Matter.” Kosar first revealed his health diagnoses in an interview with Cleveland Magazine published in July 2024. The retired athlete was diagnosed with cirrhosis, the third of four stages of liver failure, in March 2023, and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in February 2024, he said at the time. He also said he had suffered a near-death experience as a result of the diseases. “I went into the hospital and got a massive blood transfusion," he told the magazine. "It was like: ‘How are you alive? How are you moving? Because your hemoglobin levels are so low.' " Kosar also told the magazine that, as evidenced by his latest video diaries, he “strongly believe[s] in the power of positive thinking.” "I believe that positive energy can be manifested in our brains, and I love to live in the space of positivity. I want to think about things that are helpful," he said. "I visualize good health. It’s not so much that I’m trying to sell it to myself, or that I’m in denial, as it is choosing to be positive,” he added. “Because everybody’s got something. We’ve all got health issues to some degree, we all have bumps in the road."

Hamas rejects UN Gaza resolution, says international force would become party to conflict

ReutersPalestinians sit next to a fire, amid a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, in Gaza City. -Hamas rejected the United Nations Security Council passing a U.S.-drafted resolution endorsing U.S. President Donald Trump's Gaza plan, saying it fails to meet Palestinians' rights and demands and seeks to impose an international trusteeship on the enclave that Palestinians and resistance factions oppose."Assigning the international force with tasks and roles inside the Gaza Strip, including disarming the resistance, strips it of its neutrality, and turns it into a party to the conflict in favor of the occupation," the group added.UN Security Council adopts US resolution on Trump's Gaza planThe UN Security Council on Monday voted to adopt a U.S.-drafted resolution endorsing President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza and authorizing an international stabilization force for the Palestinian enclave. The text of the resolution says member states can take part in the Trump-led Board of Peace envisioned as a transitional authority that would oversee reconstruction and economic recovery of Gaza. It also authorizes the international stabilization force, which would ensure a process of demilitarizing Gaza, including by decommissioning weapons and destroying military infrastructure.Hamas, in a statement, reiterated that it will not disarm and argued that its fight against Israel is legitimate resistance, potentially pitting the militant group against the international force authorized by the resolution.Live Events"The resolution imposes an international guardianship mechanism on the Gaza Strip, which our people and their factions reject," Hamas said in its statement, issued after the adoption of the resolution.Mike Waltz, the U.S. ambassador to the UN, said the resolution, which includes Trump's 20-point plan as an annex, "charts a possible pathway for Palestinian self-determination ... where rockets will give way to olive branches and there is a chance to agree on a political horizon.""It dismantles Hamas' grip, it ensures Gaza rises free from terror's shadow, prosperous and secure," Waltz told the council ahead of the vote.Russia, which holds a veto on the Security Council, earlier signaled potential opposition to the resolution but abstained from the vote, allowing the resolution to pass.
