A successful and well-established family-run Educational Supplies business is seeking an Account Executive to join their team at their newly renovated Colchester HQ.This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation in the Educational Supplies sector, operating at the forefront of the industry for over 50 years. You will engage with schools to onboard them as clients, with an emphasis on achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and delivering exceptional customer service through proactive engagement.Key responsibilities include:Proactively sourcing new business within your dedicated sales territoryBuilding and maintaining strong accounts and relationships to ensure long-term partnershipsSelling a comprehensive range of products to meet customer needsProviding excellent customer service and creating rapport with clientsRequirementsExperience in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environmentStrong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skillsA highly motivated, target-oriented mindset with strong business acumenThe ability to self-generate new business, as well as maintain and grow existing accountsExcellent communication skills to build rapport and trust over the telephoneThe capability to work independently while managing multiple accountsBenefitsCompetitive salary of £35,000, dependent on experienceGenerous commission plan with potential earnings of up to £20,000A structured Sales Induction Programme to ensure you are set up for successCareer progression opportunities, with potential for roles such as Business Development Manager or Key Account ManagerOngoing coaching and support from internal and external sources, including free access to LinkedIn Learning
