The benefit of this is two fold: consumers benefit by receiving offers, incentives and coupons. Through a shopper’s interactions with the former AppCard’s platform records and learns shopper behavior and gives grocers the ability to make their data actionable to increase average basket size and systematically increase repeat purchases.About the role:As our Accountant, you will play a major role in our daily financial operations, month close and process improvements as we continue to scale. We are looking for an Accountant that will own key accounting functions and enable the organization to scale quickly. The ideal candidate will be able to complete the accounting tasks correctly and in a timely manner. This role requires great attention to detail and great time management skills which will help us drive efficiency within our finance/accounting environment.We are aiming to build a team that is very results-driven and shares a get-it-done mentality. In order to fit the role, you should be a team player at heart who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.Responsibilities:Take a significant role in our month close process and help make it more efficient: help adjust and own different BS and P&L accountsHelp manage the company’s reporting requirements for executive leaders - internal and externalHelp manage the finance schedules including: fixed assets, prepaid, accruals and inventoryProvide additional support to the finance team when needed by entering invoices, managing and processing payments, reconciling bank and credit card transactions and reviewing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging reports.Requirements:Ability to prioritize and multitask, time management skillsAbility to problem solve with minimal supervisionCan do it attitude, willing to improve processes, high sense of ownershipNetSuite experience - a plusSalesForce experience - highly preferredExperience with bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation - a mustUnderstanding of basic accounting conceptsA team player, adept at building relationships across the organizationStrong problem solving, analytical and communication skillsTax related experience - a must**This role is full-time from the office in NYC**
