We are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in a truly dynamic and easy-going environment.About The OpportunityThe Position grants regular support to Finance and Control function for a variety of accounting duties with a primary focus on accounts payable, general ledger and balance sheet management. It enters data into ERP or other supporting. IT systems and performs standard validation of data and checks of correctness of entries done by other departments. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely payments, and effective communication across departments.Your Role and ImpactPost supplier invoices into the system, ensuring accuracy of information, consistency of account codes, and proper cost center allocationMaintain and reconcile accounts payable accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve them promptlyPrepare month-end accounts payable accrualsAssist with month-end closing and reporting by ensuring all accounts payable transactions are recorded correctlyVerify and match POs, receiving reports, and vendor invoices (including inventory) to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in Basware and Infor M3 systemsMonitor and manage the accounts payable aging report, ensuring payments are made timely and within agreed-upon termsCommunicate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing or vendor inquiriesMaintain the fixed asset register by recording acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciationPrepare and post journal entries related to fixed assets, including depreciation, impairments, and disposalsReconcile intercompany accounts to ensure balances align between all related entitiesAnalyze foreign exchange differences and ensure proper accounting treatment for currency gains and lossesInvestigate and resolve discrepancies or mismatches in intercompany balances and transactionsPerform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilitiesInvestigate and resolve variances between general ledger balances and supporting documentationEnsure all reconciliations are completed accurately and in a timely manner to meet financial close deadlinesYour eligibilityBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of experience in accounting and accounts payable preferredPrior experience with ERP systems, online banking, and consolidated reporting toolsStrong sense of responsibility and attention to detail; must be highly accurate and timelyGood communication skills – able to train others in simple processes such as expense reportingStrong Analytical skillsProficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office applicationsPrior experience with ERP systems, online banking, consolidated reporting toolsExcellent attention to detail and ability to multi-taskTeam player with problem solving skillsFlexible and Open to take on new tasks/opportunitiesFrench speaking is considered a plusIf you work well with others and enjoy solving problems, this role could be a great fit.
