Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Specialised Accountant to join our growing Logistics Company in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for Expense coding, variance analysis, budgeting, and supporting decision-making through data analysis. This role plays a key part in helping the company understand its financial performance and drive profitability.This is a fully remote - Work from Home Opportunity. Key Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment requests in a timely mannerVerify invoice accuracy, approvals, and GL coding complianceReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare and execute weekly/monthly payments (EFT, checks, wire transfers)Maintain organized AP files and support audits with documentationAssist with month-end closing (accruals, reporting, reconciliations)Collaborate with procurement and departments to resolve payment issuesIdentify process improvements for efficiency and complianceQualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or corporate finance roles Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Quick books/accounting software.Knowledge of Macros, Power BI, Tableau is an asset. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skills
