Accounts Executive - UK Based

With over a decade ofexperience, we continue to grow and strengthen our international client base.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to joinour finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inmanagement accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to presentfinancial insights confidently to senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesManage AccountsDevelop and prepare management accounts with accuracy and insight.Present financial results and analysis to senior leadership.Research & Development (Desirable)Understanding of the UK R&D tax reclaim process and related applications.Technical & System SkillsExperienced user of Xero, including reporting and reconciliation functions.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.Good understanding of foreign currency transactions and revaluations.Knowledge of VAT rules and preparation of submissions.Accounts PayableProcess purchase invoices, including price verification and query resolution.Prepare supplier payment runs.Support process improvement initiatives (e.g., supplier self-billing, automation).Accounts ReceivableProcess sales invoices with a high level of accuracy.Record sales ledger receipts and manage credit control activities.Maintain strong customer relationships.Banking & ReconciliationPerform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.Maintain oversight of cash flow and related controls.Month-End & Financial ControlSupport the month-end close process, including journal entries and adjustments.Complete balance sheet reconciliations and assist with accruals and prepayments.Payroll (Desirable)Exposure to or experience with payroll processing would be beneficial.Personal AttributesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Proactive, curious, and eager to drive process improvements.Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.Confident communicator and effective team collaborator.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in management accounting or a similar finance role.Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of UK accounting principles and VAT compliance preferred.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Professional growth and development opportunities.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Job Type: Full-time - 1pm - 9 pmApply Now: jobs@cabcallexperts.comLocation: HB Towers, Gulberg Greens, Islamabad
