Your new companyThis company is a well-known retailer which is currently looking for an interim Accounts receivable and payable supervisor to join their team. The Accounts Receivable and Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing supplier debtor accounts, store retailer recharges, rebates, and credit card billing. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, reporting, and compliance with month-end deadlines, while supervising team members and supporting cross-functional collaboration.Your new roleKey Responsibilities:Manage a team of 3Supervise supplier debtor accounts, claims, and rebate income.Ensure timely collection, reconciliation, and reporting of accounts.Oversee store retailer charges and rebates.Reporting & CompliancePrepare monthly debtor days, volume, and rebate reports for senior management.Ensure accurate and timely reporting to meet month-end deadlines.Maintain supplier master register and trading term agreements.Rebates & Claims ManagementProcess supplier product sales and promotional rebate claims.Oversee warehouse income and rebates payable reporting.Manage reporting and payments.Supervise team members in processing claims, charges, and reports.Provide training and support to ensure compliance and accuracy.Communicate changes in supplier terms to relevant stakeholders.Ensure all financial processes align with budgeted cash flow and debtor forecastsWhat you'll need to succeedYou must be able to start immediately and have Accounts payable and receivable experience. If you have managed a team this would be advantageous to your application as well as if you've had exposure to Sage. You must have strong communication skills and stakeholder management because this is a highly social role.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a good rate of pay as well as a very competitive hybrid working model. You will only be required to go into the office 2 days a week. They are an incredibly sociable and likeable team where they have a really strong retention rate. This role may be extended or even have the opportunity for the role to be made permanent.
