Skyway Air Cargo is dedicated to providing reliable and efficient logistics solutions for customers worldwide.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Freight Forwarder located in the Athens airport area. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating air cargo transportation, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-efficient delivery of shipments. Daily tasks include managing export and forwarding processes, preparing and verifying shipping documentation, and maintaining compliance with all relevant transport and customs regulations. You will handle customer inquiries, monitor shipment progress, and maintain effective communication with clients, airlines, and logistics partners. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple shipments, and a proactive approach to resolving logistics challenges and meeting client-specific requirements.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum of 1–3 years of proven experience in Air Freight Forwarding or a similar logistics roleStrong knowledge of air freight procedures, freight transportation, and export operationsProficiency in forwarding documentation, including AWBs, export declarations, and related logistics paperworkExcellent command of the English language, both written and verbalStrong customer service skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive client relationshipsHigh attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and shipment dataAbility to manage and prioritize multiple shipments while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely deliveryEffective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partnersProficiency with logistics-related software and digital tools (e.g., freight management systems, tracking platforms, MS Office)Availability to work on-site in Athens (airport area) and flexibility to adapt to the dynamic demands of the logistics and air freight industry
