Analyst – Investments

A permanent opportunity has opened for an Analyst to join a leading investment team based in Brisbane.The successful candidate will play a key role in deal assessment and analysis, transaction execution, and ongoing asset and investment management.This role is ideally suited to candidates with a strong interest in investment analytics.It offers a highly supportive environment with strong mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Developing and maintaining detailed financial models for a range of investments.Conducting due diligence and targeted market research to support new investment and financing opportunities.Preparing high-quality investment papers and presentation materials.Assisting in structuring and executing new transactions.Supporting the preparation of capital raising documentation for new investment opportunities.Assisting with portfolio management, including compliance monitoring, drawdown assessments, return forecasting, and investor reporting.Contributing to various strategic and ad hoc projects.Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.Postgraduate qualifications (CFA, CA, CPA, or Master’s in Finance) will be highly regarded.2–3 years of relevant experience in corporate or institutional banking, project finance, funds management or investment banking.Strong academic performance with exceptional analytical and quantitative ability.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.A collaborative mindset combined with the ability to work independently.An excellent opportunity to join a leading Investment Group.For more information on this or to be considered, please apply to Lanson Partners.
