With many local benefits such as Live Better activities, Product Parcels and Health Checks.This is a rare opportunity to join a global market leader that is highly regarded for employee development opportunities.Job DescriptionPerform sampling and testing of raw material, WIP, and finished goods in accordance as per the LAB SPI procedures Sample collection, analysis of Raw materials, packaging materials & Finished good samplesUnderstand and precisely follow written lab procedures, global methods, and local methodsPreparation of standard solutions & bench reagentsStandardization of standard solutionsLog in all analysis data in the QI Analyst and SAPMaintain accurate, up to date and concise laboratory notebooks and recordsPerform verification/calibration of lab equipment as per SOP (e.g. pH meter, weighing scales, viscometer, FTIR, HPLC, Solid Analyzer, Moisture Analyzer, Karl Fischer)Maintain calibration recordsInventory monitoring & reporting of lab chemicals, glassware & other lab accessoriesUndertake glassware washing & storagePerform housekeeping and maintain 5S in the Analytical Lab. Maintain GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) & Lab safety normsSegregate waste & dispose at the end of each shiftSupport plant initiatives in improving process improvementParticipates in failure investigations to collect the necessary samples when appropriatePerform testing on the EMO/plant trial samplesMaintains chemicals, reagents, and samplesMaintains the laboratory quality control system to assure validity of dataEnsure adequate focus on personal hygiene practicesRequirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Chemistry Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to read and write in English Basic computer skills including Google Sheet/ Microsoft Excel or Google Docs/ Microsoft Word More than 3 years experience and able to operate and perform tests using HPLC and FTIRExperience working in a consumer goods/ FMCG industry is preferredMandatory to commit to shift worksAbout Us :We are Colgate - a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for all people, their pets, and our planet.
