DescriptionJob Title: Animator / Motion Graphics DesignerPosition Type: Full-Time, RemoteWorking Hours: U.S. client business hours (with flexibility for production deadlines and campaign launches)About The RoleOur client is seeking an Animator / Motion Graphics Designer to create visually compelling animations and motion graphics for marketing, training, and brand campaigns. This role blends artistic creativity with technical skill, producing video intros, explainer animations, advertisements, and dynamic visual assets that engage audiences and elevate brand identity.ResponsibilitiesAnimation & Motion Graphics:Create 2D and 3D animations, kinetic typography, and motion graphics for videos, ads, and presentations.Develop animated sequences for explainer videos, product demos, or social campaigns.Work with storyboards and scripts to bring creative concepts to life.Visual Design IntegrationCollaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and marketing teams to combine motion with static assets.Ensure animations align with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.Optimize assets for multi-platform delivery (social media, web, broadcast).Tools & SoftwareUse Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, or Blender.Manage project files, plugins, and asset libraries.Collaboration & FeedbackWork with creative directors and stakeholders to refine concepts.Incorporate client/stakeholder feedback quickly and efficiently while maintaining creative quality.Optimization & DeliveryExport final animations in multiple formats (MP4, GIF, MOV, WebM) optimized for different platforms.Ensure smooth playback, appropriate resolution, and minimal file sizes without sacrificing quality.What Makes You a Perfect FitStrong creative eye for motion, timing, and design.Ability to balance speed, quality, and creativity under deadlines.Collaborative team player comfortable with feedback cycles.Organized, with attention to detail in asset management and final delivery.Required Experience & Skills (Minimum)2+ years professional motion graphics or animation experience.Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.Strong portfolio showcasing animation and motion design projects.Familiarity with social media formats and digital ad specifications.Ideal Experience & SkillsExperience with 3D tools (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya).Knowledge of sound design integration in animations.Industry experience in advertising, SaaS, entertainment, or e-learning.Familiarity with video marketing KPIs (engagement, CTR, completion rates).What Does a Typical Day Look Like?An Animator’s day revolves around bringing static visuals and concepts to life through motion. You will:Review project briefs and storyboards from creative or marketing teams.Develop animations and graphics, experimenting with style and motion to fit campaign needs.Collaborate with designers and editors to integrate animations into broader video or ad campaigns.Revise projects based on stakeholder feedback, ensuring final deliverables are polished and on brand.Export optimized versions for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or web embedding.In essence: you transform ideas into dynamic, memorable visuals that enhance engagement and brand storytelling.Key Metrics For Success (KPIs)On-time delivery of animation projects.Quality and creativity of motion graphics (as rated by stakeholders).Campaign performance tied to animated assets (engagement, CTR, watch time).Reduction in revision cycles (≤2 major revisions).Organized, reusable animation libraries maintained.Interview ProcessInitial Phone ScreenVideo Interview with Pavago RecruiterPortfolio Review + Practical Task (e.g., create a short animated explainer or ad sequence)Client Interview with Creative/Marketing LeadershipOffer & Background Verification
