Application Engineer

This company is pushing the adoption of 3D printing through a combination of inhouse material development, hardware, and proprietary software. Their aim is to enable global advancement and wide spread usable of industrial additive manufacturing.They are looking for an Applications Engineer who can help customers identify and unlock real value from additive manufacturing – analysing existing manufacturing processes and demonstrating how technical possibilities can be turned into proven, production-ready applications.Responsibilities: Work with industrial customers to identify and develop viable AM applications.Lead technical discussions, workshops, and demonstrations to define requirements.Translate customer needs into engineering solutions across materials, design, and process.Support pre and post sales activities through application validation and technical guidance.Collaborate with internal R&D teams to feed back insights from customer projects.Experience Required: Experience in additive manufacturing or composites.Strong mix of technical understanding and commercial communication skills.Background in application development, technical sales, or customer-facing engineering.Ability to manage customer projects from first contact through to delivered application.Based in or open to relocation to Berlin for full-time, on-site collaboration.
