Architect (Draft and Design)

We’re looking for a talented Architect to lead the design and drawing phases of projects in Tropical Brutalist and Mediterranean styles. You’ll take concepts through schematic design, working closely with our design lead and local construction partners. Your role will bring ideas to life through clear, detailed drawings and visualizations that guide construction and shape our projects.Work Hours: Full-time; UTCWork Set-Up: Remote; Independent ContractorSalary: Negotiable depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:Concept DiscoveryAnalyze project requirements and programming needsDevelop vision, concepts, and preliminary layouts for commercial buildings and villasPrepare Discovery Report and Initial Design Concept (PDF)Schematic DesignSite PlanningCreate site plans, zoning, circulation diagrams, elevations, sections, and conceptual massingProduce rendered site perspectives for overall design intentArchitectural DesignDevelop floor plans, elevations, sections, roof/ceiling plans, and opening layoutsCoordinate schematic-level MEP references and finishing/material selectionsProduce 3D views and rendered visuals for design and constructionFinal DeliverablesArchitectural Schematic Design Package (PDF & DWG)3D SketchUp Model (SKP)Rendered Views (JPEG)Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field3–5 years’ experience in architectural design and schematic drawings, preferably in Tropical Brutalist & Mediterranean stylesProficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray)Skilled at translating conceptual ideas into practical schematic designsFamiliar with schematic-level MEP coordinationStrong attention to detail and design aestheticsAble to work independently and meet deadlinesFluent in EnglishRecruitment Process:Initial InterviewClient InterviewPowered by JazzHRtwi4mOp2Ax
