Art Director Intern

Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency, is seeking an Art Director Intern.Where you’ll be working: Knoxville, TNWhat to expect as a Creative Art Intern at Tombras:Commitment to a 10 week, paid internship, $18 an hour starting on 2/10/26 and ending on 4/17/26 with a maximum of 25 hours per week.What you'll be doing:Work with the Creative team to contribute to the conceptual and visual development of various projectsCollaborate with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Copywriters and Designers to execute design directionCreate and edit digital assets for both internal presentations and client deliverablesResearch trends and assist in creating mood boards, sketches and presentation decksOther responsibilities and tasks as assignedWhat you bring:Candidates should have prior work or life experience in a relevant field, be currently enrolled as a Senior in a Bachelor’s program, or a recent graduate with a major in Media, Marketing, Advertising, Portfolio School or similar field (a degree is not required)Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skillsAn engaging portfolio that showcases strong design skillsProficiency in Mac OSX, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Illustration experience is a plusYou work well as a team player in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environmentYou possess excellent visual and verbal communication skillsWhy you’ll want to work at Tombras:You’ll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America.
