Featured BenefitsCommitted to Team Member Health: offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.Retirement: Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day.Tuition and Student Loan Assistance: offeringup to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.Mental Health Support: offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.Work/Life Balance: offeringpaid time off, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules, hybrid career opportunities.Graphic Designer Job ResponsibilitiesPrepares final artwork for output for vendors and provides quality control on proofs and deliverables.Directs freelance designers, photographers, illustrators and other vendors that support in-house teams.Stays up to date on current design trends, software, technology and provides recommendations.Study design briefs and determine requirements.Schedule projects and define budget constraints.Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.Work with copywriters and leadership to produce final design.Test graphics across various media.Amend designs after feedback.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, visual design or fine arts with a strong emphasis in graphic design.Experience: Four years of graphic design experience in print and digital for an in house marketing/communications department or agency.
