Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Chief Engineer located in Lapu-Lapu. The Assistant Chief Engineer will support the Chief Engineer in overseeing engineering operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining the performance of all hotel equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include managing maintenance schedules, supervising technical staff, responding to maintenance emergencies, and coordinating projects and repairs to ensure seamless hotel operations. Qualifications Strong technical skills in facility management, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations along with the ability to ensure compliance.Proven leadership skills for effectively supervising teams and coordinating projects.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address maintenance challenges promptly.Strong organizational and communication skills to manage schedules, budgets, and collaborate with other departments.Relevant certifications or licenses in engineering disciplines are preferred.A degree in Engineering or a related field is an advantage.Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is desirable.
