It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.Role DescriptionWe are looking to hire a highly motivated and competent WSH professional to drive safety practices and initiatives in the organization. The person will be responsible for developing and implementing WSH policies, ensuring safety compliance with regulatory requirements, review risk assessment and supervise subordinates accordingly.Responsibilities1. Lead the bizSAFE Program, QEHS Certification and support Safety Case Implementation for MHI premises2. Maintain ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 requirements, conduct QEHS internal audits and follow up on corrective actions3. Participate and follow up on EHS related audits, e.g. Safety Audit on Managing Hazardous Substances, CERT Audit, audit by customers, etc.4. Conduct safety inspections5. Prepare reports, presentation and meeting minutes for related safety meetings, WSH Committee meeting and other EHS related materials6. Lead / conduct accident investigation, identify root cause and follow up on the corrective action7. Prepare and conduct EHS related trainings / briefings / toolbox meetings and conduct EHS orientations for new onboarding staff8. Prepare and attend customers’ safety promotion activities9. Assist operations department to identify and evaluate hazards and review risk assessment, and proactively eliminate any risks10. Provide relevant posters / videos / materials relating to safety to operations11. Review, update and renew Transport Emergency Response Plan and ERP12. Conduct emergency response training, table-top exercises, drills, etc.13. Keep abreast and ensure compliance to statutory safety / health / environment regulations14.
