If you're looking to grow your career within a stable and growing financial services company, then Sagicor may be right for you!"Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited Is Seeking a Suitable Candidate To Join Our Group Treasury & Asset Management – Treasury & Trading Team In The Capacity Of Assistant Manager- Treasury & Trading(Grade 3) Prepare liquidity reports which includes daily, weekly and monthly liquidity reports that will assist in formulating the liquidity plan for the SIJ.Provide support in developing a liquidity forecast framework that will assist in meeting internal and regulatory requirements .Provide support to the treasury & trading team if the need arises in terms of trading of Fixed Income & Equities Location: Kingston As An Assistant Manager- Treasury & Trading, You Will Produce daily, monthly and quarterly reports as requested by Treasury Manager or Head of Department. Provide reports for use in computing cashflow gaps, liquidity coverage ratio and other liquidity metrics for the SIJ. Ensure that the liquidity ratios as prescribed by ERM and regulatory bodies are adhered to. Assist with long-term cashflow forecasts in order to strengthen SIJL’s management of liquidity risk as recommended by the FSC. Assist with updating the liquidity crisis management plan as required. Conduct research on macro indicators and securities. Provide support/relief to the trading desk Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Management Studies or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. Two years (2) in the field of Financial Management. Certificate –Jamaica Securities Course. Postgraduate Studies or CFA Designation is an asset. Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Expert knowledge of the local & International Markets. Working knowledge of Securities regulations. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form. Good Interpersonal and Time Management skills. Ability to create and manage change.
