We have a presence not only just across Thailand, but also Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.The Assistant HR Manager plays a key role in supporting the human resources department in driving the full spectrum of HR functions. This position ensures effective HR operations, compliance with Malaysian labour regulations, and the development of a positive workplace culture. The role also assists in building strong talent pipelines, strengthening employee engagement, and driving continuous improvements in HR processes to support organizational growth.Major Duties and Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & OnboardingAssist with end-to-end recruitment activities: sourcing, interviewing, selection, and job offers.Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and probation management for new hires.Build talent pipelines and maintain relations with recruitment agencies and universities.Employee Relations & EngagementHandle employee inquiries, grievances, disciplinary matters, and counselling, ensuring fair and consistent practices.Support employee engagement initiatives, CSR, and company culture-building activities.Foster strong relationships between management and employees.Performance Management & DevelopmentSupport the implementation of performance appraisal systems (e.g., KPI, OKR, competency-based assessments).Identify training needs and organize training programs funded through HRD Corp where applicable.Assist in career development planning and succession planning initiatives.Monitor and support managers and staff in performance management, and work with managers to identify training needs and development opportunities for all staff. HR Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare HR-related reports (turnover, headcount, absenteeism, training hours, etc.).Analyze HR data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.HR Systems & Process ImprovementSupport the implementation and maintenance of HRIS systems.Recommend improvements to optimize HR workflows and employee experience.HR Operations & ComplianceAssist in developing and implementing HR policies in alignment with Malaysian labour laws (Employment Act 1955, IR Act, SOCSO, EPF, HRD Corp, etc.).Ensure HR records, payroll inputs, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) are accurate and compliant.Implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and systems for Omniraise. Support internal and external HR audits.Organize effective communications of all HR policies to staff and monitor the implementation to ensure they are being followed by managers and staff.Performs other duties as required.RequirementsEnergetic with a can-do mindset.Adaptable, independent and solve problems when they arise.Preferably with 4 years’ experience or above.Excellent multitasking skills.Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required. Additional languages are an added advantage.
