Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, located in Colombo. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist in cost estimation, cost control, and budget preparation for various construction projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing cost plans, preparing cost reports, and ensuring effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves liaising with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure the accuracy of cost-related documentation. Qualifications Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost PlanningExperience in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)Ability to prepare and interpret Cost ReportsStrong analytical and numerical skills relevant to project cost estimationEffective communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in relevant software and tools for cost estimation and reportingPrior experience or exposure to the construction industry is a plusBachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
