We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to join our Group Head Office as an Assistant Secretary to handle the following duties and responsibilities.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, coordinate appointments, and ensure efficient time management for meetings and engagements.Support the Executive Secretary in recording accurate minutes of Board, Committee, Management & other meetings, and ensure timely circulation and follow-up of action items.Prepare and maintain official correspondence, reports, and internal memos with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.Maintain comprehensive filing systems and databases for legal, statutory, and administrative documentation.Liaise with internal departments and external regulatory bodies to ensure proper coordination and submission of required documentation.Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of corporate office operations.Contribute to process and documentation improvements within the Group Secretary’s Division for enhanced compliance and efficiency.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESSDiploma or Certificate in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification (a recognized Secretarial Course is an added advantage).Even freshers who have successfully completed a Secretarial or Office Administration course will be considered.Prior exposure or academic background in corporate legal, governance, or compliance areas will be an advantage.Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala, with the ability to translate meeting discussions from Sinhala to English.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong general IT literacy and good typing speed.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to handling all matters in a confidential and ethical manner.WHAT WE OFFERAn attractive remuneration package with fringe benefits and opportunities for career advancement.A supportive and progressive corporate environment within one of Sri Lanka’s most reputed and diversified conglomerates.
