Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an AVP/VP in Compliance Advisory within the Legal and Compliance division, offering a blend of on-site work in Hong Kong SAR and flexibility for remote work. The primary responsibilities include overseeing compliance management functions, advising on regulatory compliance matters, conducting analysis of financial regulations, and providing guidance to ensure adherence to industry standards. The individual will collaborate with internal teams on compliance initiatives, liaise with regulatory authorities, and support the development of robust compliance policies and procedures. Qualifications Expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, including experience with regulatory frameworks.Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to assess complex financial and compliance-related information to make sound decisions.Knowledge and understanding of Investment and Financial Services, including investment banking and associated products such as equity issuance, fixed income, derivatives, commodities, virtual assets and asset management.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, advisory experience.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or finance (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus).
