Job Description – Business AnalystPosition: Business AnalystExperience: 4–8 YearsLocation: Bengaluru, Pune, MumbaiAbout The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can bridge business needs with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools, a foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, and excellent stakeholder management abilities. This role involves requirement gathering, data analysis, documentation, and ensuring high-quality delivery through UAT and testing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, analyze, and document business requirements and transform them into functional specifications. Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure clarity of requirements. Perform data analysis using SQL, Excel (Advanced), and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Develop data models and support analytics use cases with strong understanding of data modeling principles. Apply AI/ML concepts and model evaluation basics to support data science teams. Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support decision-making. Conduct UAT, prepare test cases, and work with QA teams to ensure quality deliverables. Maintain clear and detailed documentation using Jira and Confluence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed smoothly and meet business goals. Support projects involving Azure AI, automation, and analytics solutions. Required Skills (Mandatory)Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, joins, aggregations). Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts (star schema, ER diagrams, dimensional modeling). Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and model evaluation metrics. Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards and reporting. Strong knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros preferred). Experience with Jira and Confluence for requirement tracking and documentation. UAT, testing, and functional documentation expertise. Basic understanding of Python for data manipulation. Understanding of cloud-based solutions, especially Azure AI. Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
