Job Description

This is a remote position. A Remote Clinical Coordinator is responsible for developing care plans, coordinating patient care services, and ensuring patients receive the necessary medical treatment. They consult with healthcare providers, evaluate patient progress, and assist with filing insurance and claims for reimbursement. Responsibilities: Act as a compassionate and empathetic resource for patients, providing emotional support, reassurance, and encouragement throughout their treatment. Keep accurate records of patient care and doctor's schedules. Help patients understand and navigate the telepsychiatry process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, including utilizing telepsychiatry platforms and technologies. Collaborate with patients to identify their unique needs and develop personalized care plans, ensuring their treatment aligns with their goals and preferences. Advocate for patients' rights and interests, ensuring they receive appropriate care and services. Check in on patients regularly and evaluate and document their progress. Facilitate seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring timely scheduling of appointments and follow-ups. Answer questions, including billing and preparation. Coordinate with internal teams to optimize appointment scheduling and minimize wait times for patients. Cancelling or rescheduling appointments as and when required. Notify patients of any changes in their appointment schedules, ensuring they are well informed and supported throughout the process. Provide accurate and up-to-date information to patients regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our clinic's services, policies, and procedures to address patient inquiries effectively. Identify potential areas for improvement in patient care and service delivery, providing valuable feedback to the management team.Requirements Master's degree in psychology, social work, healthcare administration, nursing, or similar field. Experience of 2+ years in a patient coordinator or clinical associate role, preferably within the healthcare industry or relevant training and/or certifications as a Patient Coordinator. Excellent verbal and written communication skills(English-C1) to share updates with patients and other medical staff. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate compassionately, empathetically, and effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions. Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technologies is a plus. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Willing to work from 9 AM to 6 PM EST, either Monday to Friday or Sunday or Thursday as per the requirement. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards is paramount in this role.
